Spooky shit

Why do bad things happen to good people? Because it makes for interesting horror stories.

Did you know this when you bought it?!?

hehe yeah.. well we werent positive, but we didnt care either way hehe.

Dont know that its haunted.. though weve heard and seen some odd things.. lol

I dunno...even if no one had ever thought it was haunted, my imagination would certainly get the better of me...I'm not usually open to suggestion, but in this case I'm pretty sure I'd be a basket case. Don't get me wrong, I'd LOVE to visit and stay over in a haunted place...hotel, home, etc., but I'm just not sure I could live in one. I believe in that shit.

Oh hell no. There's no way I could buy it and not have nightmares. That and shag carpeting - total deal breaker. Although my best friend in high school's house had a double murder in it. She swore she saw ghosts. I never did, but then again they had shag carpeting. O_o

no doubt the shag was haunted!

Hehe my hubby and I woke up one night, he saw sarah standing in the doorway.. which she does sometimes when she has bad dreams. I didnt have my glasses on so was blind as a bat.

He got up and followed her to her room and when he got there she was sound asleep in her bed, she had never gotten up. lol

My son told my mom that he once saw some kids sitting around the table in the kitchen, when we first came here, but there wasnt a wall there where there was now..

we dont have a table in the kitchen hehe, and there was a wall put in the kitchen in order to add a washroom..

Just strange things like that every now and then.. and hear kids talking when theres noone around.. but nothing like, really spooky or anything.

You 'lol' but I keep imaging you doing it all nervous like 'hehehe...cry...hehehehe'.

pfft, no, I gots my guard dogs.. 10 pounds of pure muscle ( like 20 combined!) to protect me!

ok so maybe like, 6 pounds of muscle and like 4 of fat.. but still!

My mom has it worse, she bought the house across the street from me, so she would have her own place to come visit and wouldnt have to kick my son out of his room for months on end hehe, the previous owners were murdered by their daughter's bf! ( not inside the house though.. in another state..)

Meh - if the murders didn't happen in the house, then there aren't any spirits trapped there...or so I believe lol.

A few years back we bought a new home - no previous tenants - and had weird things happen. Lights would come on with no one around...the smoke detectors would go off at weird hours for no reason...and our dog used to bark at nothing in a space above the stairwell (very reminiscent of the dog barking at the wall in Poltergeist). But nothing bad ever happened, so we all just laughed it off. I did sometimes wonder if the developers just removed the headstones though...;)

I totally grew up wishing our neighborhood was like the one in Poltergeist, but only because remote controls were still new and I thought Craig T. Nelson's neighbor was an asshole.

hehe, my sister in law bought a house out here too.. so she could come visit, though its in a nearby town.

The day she signed the papers on it she chose to spend the night there, just a few blankets and pillows and no furniture.. she said she was woken up twice when she heard a mans angry voice screaming at the top of his lungs "IKE!!"

( yes roz, im serious really Ike! )

She said it was ocming from inside the house and scared the bejeezus out of her and she couldnt sleep.

Now that would be spooky for me.. I can handle little children.

yeah theres lots of really old houses out here.. I think Sis in laws is like 130 years old,. mines 100

I don't know - little kids are historically creepier. Look at The Grudge or that one movie with the girl from Twilight or even the new Amityville movie. Ghost kids are bad.
Lessa 17 years ago
as long as none of em have any haunted toy clowns.. Ill be ok haha..

Poltergeist scared me as a kid! :(
ROzbeans 17 years ago
You know it still holds up to this day. It's not cheesy scary like Nightmare on Elm street where chick covers her head with her comforter and kicks her feet screaming. The ghosts in Poltergeist mean fucking business even 20 years later.

hehe no kidding.. my grandma ( she lived on the other side of the country and only sent us stuff every fe w years if she remembered) Well one of the few years she remembered to send us christmas presents was the year my dad thought it would be a good idea to let my little brother and I watch Poltergeist.. we were like 6 and 5 lol.

So she sends us these creepy little clown dolls ( she prolly thought they were cute) both of us stuffed them in the closet hoping to never see them again!

I remember jumping off the end of my bed to the hallway in order to go to the bathroom at night.. to avoid whatever it was that must have been under my bed waiting to grab me!
