Hi all, I'm a friend of Vanesse's (looks like she uses Lessa here) and just joined here because she talked about this exchange. I'd like to be a part, but I understand if it's not kosher because I'm new. If someone tells me it's OK, I'll edit this to include my character info. If it's not, you can delete this post so it won't clutter.

Character Name: Kethaera
Game: Everquest II
Class: Templar (good side cleric)
Hair color: Black, with bluish tints in the light
Eyes: Dark brown
Body Type: Short for her race (she's only a head taller then hubby's dwarf), and slender
Race: Wood Elf (darker skinned and shorter than High Elves), Keth also has a stylized leaf tattoo on her left cheek and tribal-like tattoos on her chest and arms, all in brown and sienna. The tattoos aren't necessary for your art, I just included them in the description so you get an idea of what her race is like.

Personality: Keth is very much Lawful Good. She's quiet, sweet, shy, and naive; usually seeing the silver lining. She's usually accompanied by her friends, as her naivete gets her killed when she's by herself.

Character description: Shy, a bit of a loner.
-Hair color: Light brown, the color of honey.
-Eye color: blue
-Body type: Slender. Delicate features.

It has been almost two years since war destroyed the city. There isn't much left, just broken glass, splintered wood, and shattered dreams. Those who surrvived the blasts, the fires, then the freezing because little more than bandits and scavengers. Rule of law has given way to survival of the fittest. This was Alyce's world, and she had become adept at living in it.

As dark as her world had become, there was still one place that was her own. Each night Alyce returned to what was left of her home. There was no roof, no doors, no window, just three walls standing around a battered baby grand piano. With scratches and chunks of wood missing from the frame, the old piano stood on three legs and a small tower of old tires. It stood defiant, refusing to crumble in the harshess of the day, or to let the memories of what once was be drift away in the chilling wind.

As long as Alyce could return home to play the piano, she knew she could pretend the sun would shine in the morning and the flowers would grow. As long as music filled the air, she had hope.
