I am long winded tonight...

...because I cannot talk in RL right now. The area where my two lower back wisdom teeth are coming in is so swollen that I cannot completely close my mouth, and talking is both painful and difficult for others to understand.

I never realized how much I talk before this. I'm wondering if the people around me are secretly amused at my situation.

The inability to chew solid foods is less humorous, or I'd be laughing at myself too. Well, that and the throbbing aching motherfucking pain. Not very funny.

Anyway, I'll be getting those pesky wisdom teeth taken out soon, which will probably shut me up for a few days at least.

*watches the board take a collective sigh of relief*

I had that tylenol 3 stuff after i had 2 taken out. I feel your pain =(

/comfort Veri. Tooth pain sucks. I think it's the worst because you can't escape it. It seems to me that the further away from my head the pain is, the less it bothers me.

:x I went into for a dental cleaning, while still in the Army. He saw I still had all my wisdom teeth in and exclaimed "Hey, this guy still has his wisdom teeth!" After which he called in the others & proceeded to pull all 4 out. No shit - I will never forget that. Gave me some asprin & told me to soldier on... Never the less I went to the store & got a couple bottles of Scotch and preceeded to medicate myself.

Scotch! Its whats for dinner! :coffee

the same thing happened to me in boot camp except they only pulled 2 but they gave me a bottle of motrin and sent me back into training with a mouthful of bloody gauze to plug the huge holes in my gums and a cargo pocket full of replacement gauze.

and i didn't have access to scotch.

oh i did have a chit that stated i was supposed to get a day of bedrest but my senior DI saw the chit, ripped it up, and told me to get my narrow ass back out with my platoon.

i never did get the narrow ass part though. even when i came out of boot camp at 145 lbs looking like a white ethiopian i still had a bubble ass.

i guess they just say whatever is popular and comes to mind.
