A Drenai?

I just finished this of a Drenai. . . .I guess you could say it is my ideal. . . if only they had hair like that!

Hair by: Instant Hair by Illiona (purchased on Renderosities)
Background: Mask and Moria Door (Moria copyright LOTR, JRR Tolkein)

Remember I am an ex- doller too. . .and kind of rusty at that . . . .yes. . .I could definately use some help.

*All work is done in PSP*

Thanks

Your overall composition is pretty neat. I like the background and it has a solid focus on your drenai. However, compared to the rest of your picture, your skin looks washed out and lacks proper shadow depth. I'm horrible at doing skin, so I can't really add too many suggestions there, and I don't use PSP. What I'd do in photoshop though is adjust the levels and tone down the brightness. You can barely see her eyes and the only real defintion is at the jawline.

The hair has good tones and actually I like the horns. The left looks a little backwards, but really it's a great start at a manip. =)

A lot of us here have been using photoshop for years. I'm more of a beg/intermediate user (considering there are a bajillion things PS can do), but if you have questions, feel free to post and we'll answer them the best we can. :thumbsup

you can adjust the levels in Psp as well ( I use both but know psp a bit better :) )

Just go to Adjust > Brightness/contrast > Levels :)

You can also do those adjustments in Highlight / midtone / shadow :)
