They said they showed him running instead of laboring around, walking fast. I'm about the freaking out RUNNING!

Yeah - Its a more athletic Jason.
Lots of blood and gore too. Typical murders Jason style.
Lots of beheadings and throat slashing and disembowelments.

This may sound odd - But growing up I used to watch those Friday the 13th movies and I never was scared.
I used to think that Jason was cool lol
I now own every Jason flick on DvD. I love those movies.

I grew up on those movies and the Halloween series, etc. They never really "scared" me but there were time where they could make you jump just be being startled. To be honest I stopped watching the Jason series after 3 or so, they just took it too far. I mean, seriously, Freddy vs Jason? Why the fuck do the have to murder 2 movie franchises by not only going too far individually, but combining them in the dreaded "Vs" movie? (See also, Alien Vs Predator).
I think I will watch this new one though, just to see a fresh spin on the movie. I like the whole running idea, I always hated the slow walks and the stupid people falling down and scrambling backwards lol.

Freddy vs Jason was a stupid mistake. They should have let people kept wondering,
Besides, Freddy has no chance against Jason. Jason is a murdering machine.
One thing about the Friday the 13th movies is that when there was a sex scene you knew they are fixing to die lol

I was never really big into the Freddy and Nightmare on Elmstreet series. I did however like the Halloween series.
BTW - Has anyone seen the remake of My Bloody Valentine? The killer in that movie looks wicked. I saw the original of it and it was pretty good. Something about a dude wearing a Gas Mask and going around killing people with a Pick-Axe is kinda pwn!

I've NEVER liked 'startle' movies, and hate it when anyone calls them 'horror' movies.

I love these cheesy horror movies. LOVE. THEM. I absolutely loved Jason X and how it went all futuristic. It was ridiculously stupid! I love that they're remaking these now, too. You know they're bound to be more violent and way better shot. I'm giggly!

dont like any of he mass murder /pointlss gore type movies hehe. I have only seen one or two of the nightmare ones wen was a kid.. poltergeist was scary.. but then I was 5 the first time I saw it. so of course it was lol. Not sure if Ieer saw an etire Jason movie.
I prefer the ones that get you all sucked into the plot so youre leanng foreward in your chair all interested then something jumps out and makes you yell or jump hehe. I think that one with Julianne Moore did that. The Forgotten? and Signs.. etc

Those are more thrillers, and I love those too. Forgotten made me lose my breath when they took the cop away into the sky. Just plucked her ass up and away. I forgot to breath, it was awesome.
Signs - I watch that movie at least 4 times a week. I cry at the ending every single time. That shit scared me so bad when Mike took me to see it, that I tried to get up and leave during the part where Graham goes into the cornfield at night and sees the leg of one of them. Mike had to grab my arm as I got up to bolt.
The Ring - I've heard a lot of people say that this wasn't scary to them at all. Didn't even jump. I couldn't even close my eyes in the shower, it freaked me out so friggin bad. I watched it with my father on pvp on a trip up and he and I both could not sleep that night.
What's that one with the girls who go sperlunking or whatever down in the caves and they get trapped? That shit had me jumping all off the couch like a fool.
Stir of Echoes - Mike and I watched it with our best friends and we clung to each other on their couch all freaking out and shit. The theater parts, especially when chick was covered in plastic and starts grabbing at him was fucking unreal.

Sometimes there is nothing like sitting back and watching a masked killer go around murdering people.
And ive never even heard of startled movies =p only horror.
