Harper's Island was advertised as only running from April to July, from the beginning. Maybe they hoped it might turn into a series, but I never heard it promoted as anything but a limited run. And yea, I only began watching because I was sure they'd expose the killer before the end of the series.

Glad to hear bout Dollhouse, was hoping the Sara Chronicles might pull thru. Pisses me off how they ended that one even more now that it won't be coming back. Lie to Me hubby and I already figured was a shoo in since it seems pretty popular. Supernatural yay! CSI's yay! Rest, meh dun watch anything else really lol

House is about the only thing I watch aside from a few shows on TLC and Discovery. Hope they keep it up! :) Heroes I just rent on dvd to watch the whole thing at once. hehe

I think I prefer the USA shows now hehe, Burn Notice and Without a Trace.. which I already know are onto the next seasons.. Bones and House we do watch as well, but they are more the man's shows than mine.

Oh! I forgot bout Burn Notice. We have the first season, waiting for the second to come out, and I'm gonna start DVR'ing the third when it starts here in June :D Love that one!

I think that Kings could have made an -amazing- show if it had a better time slot and plenty of creative control. The first few episodes were brilliant but it started to get desperate. If they had stuck with the driving force behind the first few episodes instead of making it all 'omg teh bibble is SEXY see?' I think it really could have gone somewhere. Not all the acting was that good but King Silas was excellent and I think the kid playing David was getting better.
Anyway, it was a neat take on something other than another cop/doctor/lawyer show.
I'm liking Dollhouse and am happy it made it to another season. I'm excited for Glee, but confused about how they plan to release it, with the first episode this week and the next in late summer. Like my ADD ass is going to remember this show in three months :(.

My mom loves this show, but yea, I don't get it either.
LOL - I like Fringe, though still not in love with the female lead, but she's gradually getting better, and doesn't ruin it for me. It is similar to X-Files without the chemistry between the leads; however, there are other characters that fill in for the lead's lack of personality.
The season finale was somewhat shocking.

Every good male/female cop/scientist show will forever be compared to Mulder and Scully. In fact, I finally sat down and watched an episode of 'Bones' after hearing that it was the AWESOMENESS from a lot of people. It was the one with the cancerous skin graft in the FBI director's daughter. Booth, the FBI agent even says to 'Bones' that they could be Mulder and Scully after she demanded on being able to join him out in the field and not just be a 'squint'.
It's interesting though, she's incredibly smart but has almost no pop culture, social experience. He's the feeler, she's the brain. Her jawline bugs me, but I've watched the first 4 season 1 ep's and now I gotta find the rest. Phooey.
