Gamer or Running Man 2009

I actually liked The Running Man, as corny as it was :shakefist:
There is a really crappy B-movie called "Slashers" with a similar reality snuff show plot that I was talking to a friend about this weekend. It actually had an interesting premise, but was little more than an amateurish fake bloodfest.

Yeah but there was no happy ending at the end of the short story, unlike the movie.

Went to see it last night and actually enjoyed it. I t hought it would be more of the same old guys movie with as much with explosions and people dying and boobs all that as they could cram into an hour and 45 minutes, and it was, but its a good story too. Id watch it again when it comes out on video :)

its not really like the running man, Its more like Call of Duty and Sims meets real life..hehe

And the acting is good.

The only similarities is the prime time audience type factor. Which is really in alot of movies if you think about it.. Death Race or something came out recently? I thought it would be like that, far better.

Got this coming in the mail today. Skimmed the spoiler - I need a good shoot em up movie.

Bit of a one time movie. Super violent, almost cartoonish blood but really interesting action scenes. The kid who's in the new Percy Jackson movie is in this and Gerard Butler is alright. The plot isn't that hard to figure out but it was enjoyable enough.
