Help me pick a name!
So I am in the early stages of planning for my own business. I am going to be a massage therapist. I am tired of being unemployed in an economic downturn so I am going to find my own path. The training course to gain the basic certificate can be done in 3 months. Then a further 3-6 months for the advanced certificate. I could start working with the basic cert and work on the advanced as I start up.
I have done a fair amount of reading on starting up as a sole trader. I am going to start working out how much money I would make based on what I should charge etc, so I can figure out what a realistic income would be. I would be planning to start small and work from home until I have my adv cert and then I would be in a position to set up something more substantial thanks to my mother-in-law who has indicated she would provide me with premises to work from ( she has a couple of investment properties, one of which is the perfect layout for professional rooms ). So really it is just down to biting the bullet and filling out paperwork to get it rolling.
I don't have a name. For this vision to work for me, I need a name. I need colours. I need a graphic. The colours and graphic I can do once I have a name, but the name is killing me. I looked up what other folks have called their practice, and it all seems to be just their personal name, as in Jill's Massage. I don't want that. I want something that says something about my practice. Here is my working list:
Renew, Rejuve, Restore, Remedy, Body Focus, Unwind.
I don't have a clear vision on this. When I had to name my hubby's mechanical business way back in the day, I came up with Techset in half an hour with a cool graphic to match. My hope is to have something that I can work an "art deco" stylised graphic into. Either a seed held in an open palm, perhaps a halved fruit showing the seed/kernel, I dunno that part is still fuzzy.
Anyway, I know we have some great creative minds here, so if you feel bored and want to help me flesh out some names I would be grateful. What I am NOT going for is something that screams massage with a happy ending. I am aiming at possibly working with older folks, maybe in aged care facilities so I want something that has broad appeal. Not really aimed at hip and groovy Gen-Y'ers. So not looking for tricky text that looks like SMS talk or such.

Wish you were close, I'd use your services...I get massages all the time, but every time I find someone I really love, they quit! I'm getting a complex I tell ya!
LOL Den, do you drool on the table? When I was getting regular physio on my sacro before I was diagnosed with the ruptured disc I was so embarrassed when I dribbled on the paper towel cover they have on the table. I never even knew, so now I am a vigilant spit-sucker-upper when I get a massage. Talk about confessions from the treatment room hahahaha. /dies
No. no drool, but seriously my nose does run when I'm lying face down with my head in that padded ring. Usually I do remember to grab a tissue first though lol. If I was immensely wealthy, I would definitely start out each morning with a massage though...they're awesome, and addictive! lol

I am now thinking I am going to just call it Re, and as part of my design just have all the "re" words that go with the idea in a kind of halftone or something. I will work on it and post something up for you all to critique for me.
