Oh dear god. I'm 21 minutes into the pilot episode and I am dying. They got EVERYTHING wrong. This is worse than Silence of the Lambs - book to movie.

Harry's dad knows he can use magic. Huh - what?
Harry's office is like a store front instead of in an office building.
Murphy has brown eyes and hair instead of being blonde and blue eyed.
Harry used magic, even under false pretenses, in front of someone who doesn't know.
He drives an old MASH type jeep not the Blue Beetle.
Murphy is driving a huge SUV instead of a small Saturn Sedan.
AND BOB? WHAT THE HELL?? Working on spells instead of reading romance books and talking about porn?
Skinwalkers don't get introduced until like at least Book 8 or 9.
Who the hell is Melissa and the 'high council'? WHITE COUNCIL.

This is killing me.

I just got done with book 6 and that just sounds horrible! I will avoid like the plague!

If you haven't read any of the books, it's not bad. It is fairly interesting and the actor who plays Harry is cute. He was the villain on the mid season finale of Burn Notice, too.

LoL We -just- watched that Burn Notice finale today cuz we were gone all weekend. We were sitting there, both of us thinking "Damn he's familiar!" when hubby finally blurted out... It's HARRY! Was like oh duh!

hehe I knew exaclty who he was then they where making all the magic references and I giggled and Jeffs like WTF is so funny .. I said its funny cuz its Harry! he was oh yeah! haha .... Hes still a cutiepatootie imho lol
