I just looked at the Aion website and saw the screenshots. Good gravy they're nice. I'm going to buy a copy to check it out, but I doubt Veb will play.

I downloaded the BETA, but it keeps telling me I don't have the latest version of Direct X. Which I did re download like 10 times (and installed it). I went to the forums to see if anyone else was having problems like this but there was no forums available.
Anyone else have this problem.

The DirectX 9 c or whatever? No it installed fine for me. The only problem I'm having is the sheer amount of people trying to log on. Servers are down anyway =/

If you have DX10 you might need to actually install DX9.

Well, hubby tried it, I watched. Not sure why but just watching him play made me kinda nauseous. Not sure if it was the way they move or what. He said it was okay, but nothing worth getting too excited about. Gonna go cancel our pre-order now before I forget again. I will say one thing tho... I know I'd spend hours just making characters just to play with their creation set up LoL

Not for a while, from what I understand, and you need to spec into that particular skill or talent or whatever to become good at it. Some people specialize in ground combat, for example. This is just what I saw on the preview video thing; no idea if it's changed since then.
