Fall Tv line up!

There are a ton of interesting looking shows starting and restarting this month.

Modern Family - 'Mock'umentary. I got it dvr'd but I heard it was hilarious
Community - Chevy Chase? Hells yes, I am there
Flash Forward - Everyone in the world blacks out for 45 seconds - EVERYONE - and the all experience a vision of the future that looks a little bleak. I'm all over this one - Harold from 'Harold and Kumar' is in this one.
NCIS Las Vegas - Chris Odonnel from 90's boy toy fame. Scent of a Woman and Robin (although that last one was more infamous, I think) I just got into the original NCIS, looking forward to watching the premiere of this one.
Trauma - another NBC medical drama, but it looks hyped up to the max. Gonna watch maybe.

Returning:

Fringe - I'm watching season 1 on dvd right now. Just released. DONT SPOIL THIS FOR ME!!! lol I'm dvr'ing season 2 now
Bones - /purrrrrrrr
Sons of Anarchy - Gemma gets raped by the Whiteheads or skinheads, whatever, that are coming to town to take over. Damn good FX show that replaced 'The Shield' nicely
Project Runway- You're either in....or OUT!
Top Chef Las Vegas - meh, so far
America's Next Top Model - 5'3 girls are catty!

What's everyone else watching?

Waiting for Dollhouse and Sanctuary here. Need Season 4 of Bones to come out so I can be caught up on that and start the new one. Hmmm kiddo and I caught the season premier of CSI last night. Sara's back for a bit guest starring so that's cool. We've got season 4 of Supernatural to watch on DVD now so that's what I'll be doing this weekend

Caught The Forgotten. Man, they really want Christian Slater to be on TV. Jerry Bruckheimer (CSI, etc) is producing this one, but it's kinda...meh.

Apparently everyone in this volunteer group has a personal connection to the type of investigative work that they do. Alex, Christian Slater, is apparently an ex-cop who's 9 year old daughter was kidnapped 2 years prior and never seen or heard from again. No body...nothing. Same thing with the main girl, the red head - the kid doing community service recognizes her but you don't find out what her story is. The kid is a sculpture who got busted for tagging buildings while bored so now he recreates dead people's faces.

I don't know - it's a great story, the acting from the actors (mostly no named) isn't up to par with Slater's - who is doing his best to over act. I don't know, I might watch a couple more to see where it goes.

Modern Family was HA LARIOUS. Three different and unique families that you find out are related. Ted Bundy (I forget his name...Ed something) from Married with Children is the patriarch who's married to a hot latino woman. I enjoyed it - especially the married daughter's family's husband. Idiot savant only not so savant.

NCIS:LA - Chris Odonnel is looking hot, as is LL Cool J. Granted I'll watch anything wtih LL Cool J. He is an untapped source for creative and great tv and movies. Starts off with Chris O's character returning early from time off. There are flashbacks of him being shot and *I THINK* you see gunshot scars on his chest in the beginning, but apparently everyone is surprised to see him.

This isn't like NCIS at all, not from what I've see of the original. The only military connection was the Navy guy who was killed in the beginning. It took them a full day (1/2 hours) to figure out this guy was giving up military secrets because his niece was being held hostage. Took me 2 seconds of seeing a picture of the niece. Dumbed down a little too much for me, but they gotta stretch it an hour, I suppose.

Lots of cool gadgetry, computers, interesting supporting characters (kinda) but ultimately Chris O and LL Cool J outshine them all. I'll watch it, but I hope it gets more interesting.

I'll also watch this again, though I agree this particular story was a little sappy. I liked the premise, where the victims sort of narrate parts of the episode, but I think it would do a far lot better if they made edgier, and better suited for a later time slot.

Chris ODonnel - check
LL CoolJ - check
Linda Hunt - check

The guys are totally hot, but I also adore Linda Hunt, and that characterof her's reminded me totally of the one in The Incredibles! She's great.

I also figured out who the kidnapper was quickly, and hope the future stories have a bit more to them. So far the other CIS shows have done well, so I'm going to hope for the best here.

Flash Forward - OMG WATCH THIS SHOW! I was completely enthralled. It's been a long time that I've been excited about any tv show but this one had intrigue, mystery, and science fiction all wrapped into one. For 137 seconds the entire world blacks out, only it's not a black out - they all get a flash of their future 6 months from now, April 29th 10pm EST 2010. Some people see good things, bad things, but there are those who see nothing at all.

Further investigation through cameras (bank, mall, webcams, etc) show everyone dropping...except for 1 person. Who is he? What was he doing? Why was he awake...and was he the only one?

The main character is an FBI agent who's flashforward is of him figuring out what happened while his partner sees NOTHING. And they want answers - who did it, will it happen again, but more improtantly...why.

I am so all over this how. It was amazing.

The missing feeling comes along with those who haven't seen Epitaph One. It's the unaired episode Fux needed to put the show on DVD. Never got to buying the box set myself. There should be a discount on it for the first six craptastic episodes.

Everything around my house is DVR to watch whenever I have a free moment..

Bones (David Boreanaz.... *licks lips*)
Big Bang Theory (can NOT miss this!)
NCIS (LOVE this...)
NCIS : LA (giving it a few eps to see if it gels into something good, first was bleh)
Hell's Kitchen (this season is almost finished tho I think)
Family Guy
Diners, Drive Ins and Dives (this season: shows from his Houston trip so new places to try!)
Dexter

bleh I know I am missing a few =x

I should check out some of these new shows. Flash Forward was looking really interesting..

Oh! and Roz.. the bullet scars and such for G on NCIS:LA are from the intro crossover last season on NCIS. They were from the show Legend Part 1 & 2. At the very end of the second epp as LL is dropping him off at his apartment he comments on how he has the feeling he needs to move again, which gets him laughed at for how often he does. Then as he walks off a van squeals past and drive by shoots G several times. From street shots and such of the people right as this happens you get the impression maybe he was being watched etc... the episode ended with LL running over and grabbing him, calling for an ambulance and yelling at him to hold on. A later episode in the NCIS season someone asked Gibbs about how G was doing (you find out in Legend that G and Gibbs know one another and are friends, they served together or something at one point). They used Director Vance to tie them together some also with his appearance on the show last night via secnav

Yeah umm I kinda like NCIS

If you remember she was also really good in Hidalgo and CSI - Vegas (Dayshift) I always wondered why they didnt give her a bigger role there.

I usually catch everything online.. makes it easier to watch whenever you want..

NCIS
NCIS: LA
CSI: Miami - Even though I get annoyed at Horatio and his head tilt. Cant he speak without tilting his head? LOL
CSI: Vegas
One Tree Hill - don't laugh! I watch it because its filmed in Wilmington NC which was 2hrs from where I use to live. I've even been there and seen the court at the river. Never did catch a glimpse of them filming though. =\
Supernatural
Smallville
Legend of the Seeker - Even though this show peeves me cause its nothing like the books.
Warehouse 13 - Found this one on Hulu.. watch it every now and then.
Dexter
Vampire Diaries - Fricking wanna be Twilight show, but the vampire guys are hot. ROFL
Heroes - Yay for Netflix! Been watching all the seasons online.. up to season 3 now.
Defying Gravity but sadly that went poof and I can't find it online anymore

but my only real addiction is The Tudors which doesn't air until spring.
Eve 15 years ago
I love the Tudors, but last season paled in comparison to the first two. I miss the real intrigue and the steamy scenes of the first two seasons LoL I've got my Dexter and Califoniacation dvr'd. Almost forgot about them starting this past Sunday, and remembered 10 mins into Dexter's first airing so luckily they did it again right after the premier of Cali. We got Season 4 of Supernatural so we've been watching a couple of those each night when hubby was off. He's back to graves tonight, so I'll watch my shows once kiddo crashes

edit: Oh oh oh! Lie To Me starts this week too I think! Have to wait til he's off to watch it but yay!
