I used to read a lot of Koontz, but I tapered off. Most of his stuff isn't that great IMO, but there are a few that stand out. I really liked Phantoms (horrible movie though) and I think Lightning was my fav of his.

If this one is any good lemme know, I might have to grab a copy.

So far Im 52 pages into it, and its 3:15 am, and its like nothing Ive read of his before. Its too great to put down, and flu or not, I forsee a long night ahead of not sleeping. Its good so far, we shall see.

Just finished this book.

Hmm.
Read it.
All Im gonna say is it was worth it. Some time during this book, I will not say when, is a base ball pitched with so much curve that it left me sitting so stunned that I felt the ball actually hit me in the head.

Read it.

It can be slow at times, but the writer writes with a sarcastic and humorous undertones. Its good.

Early Koontz is very good. The stuff lately not so very good. Watchers, Twilight Eyes, Phantoms are all good books. The same with Stephen King. I love his early stuff. I must have read Christine 20 times. I dont like his new stuff.
