Yeah. Well to be honest if it were not for them I wouldnt be sitting here doing what I do today. I wouldnt have got back into art or got to know people here who forced me by gun point to come here ... ok well the last part was a lie .. they just told me I could say the Fword as much as I wanted and that was it I was sold lol!
Sucks tho back in the day it was great place to hang out. Given the minor* issues lol

I know I started out at SMMO, loved going there all the time and learned a LOT from some of the screenshot artists there and even learned pixel doll stuff there. I think I left shortly after Jenna did, and it started slowing down, traffic-wise. Clicked on it by mistake not too long ago and was surprised to see that it was gone =/

I dont know, I learned alot there and always enjoyed their exchanges, yet I never quite felt welcome there somehow, I miss some of the people who were there in the old days, like Immy.

I'm very disappointed. I was hoping to land there and start up with the art again. Kinda feel like I'm floundering now lol.... I had a plan but now I need to regroup. I miss the old regulars too... life gets in the way I suppose!

Well you're welcomed to show your art here, Aniyah, you know that. Yeah I miss some of the old regulars too, but I guess people went out and got lives in the real. What the hell, right?

And yes, I certainly didn't mean to say I couldn't show art here. I'm just back in the beginner stage where I'm trying to figure shit out lol!

I think what a big part of what failed with Smoo's art events were the frequency of them. Honestly, there jusst aren't a lot of us left that do game art. We just manage here at TAC doing them quarterly. I try and wait at least 3 months in between them, if not throwing a Mafia in the mix, but we even have fails here, too.

Maybe we could do a screenshot event someday? How fun would that be?

Well, maybe a small member challenge - just have to have a handful to do it. We could post a pic as a challenge or you could provide game sceenshots if you have it. Something for fun down the road, maybe.

Man Roz was my screenshot idol! I figure it was fun while it lasted and I learned alot and that's that.

I do still have a few screenshots of Laschae and Caris somewhere...

Dolls and screenshots were what first drew me to NS. I never really got into screenshot stuff, I still have a couple sigs and magelo backgrounds that I made for myself and other folks.

I remember being impressed with Roz's screenie manips. And That one girl who could do amazing dolls.

I actually discovered TAC before I found NS, years and years ago, Id come here and ogle the screenshot work then try and figure out how to do similar on my projects ><

Too chicken shit to pop in and say hi though.. I may have registered at some point.
