OOC Vote Discussion

Well we have to vote for someone on day 1 with little clues or politics to go on. Personally from the clues presented in the story I feel it is a mage, but I'm curious to hear other theories before I cast my vote.

We have 2 mage's and 1 necro. The many hands could also be the necro's pet. Both rikr and nards are mages...I might agree with you, vulash.

Was just thinking a big deal was made about the baths (water element), and it seemed the hands came out of nowhere yet this guy is an ancient monk. His senses will be fine, and holding him down wouldn't be easy.

Just to let you know, you guys are doing really well. This is pretty much how the game goes from here on out. I was going to extend the vote a little, but honestly this is pretty normal for the first day. If I'm seeing serious issues with people getting to vote I'll reconsider extending things though.

It seems to me that an earth pet may have the strenght to hold a monk under water, but it would not have many hands. A necro's pet certainly wouldn't remind anyone of an octopus. Between the two I'd lean more toward a mage than a necro. I don't have any better ideas, but I will think about it.

I was thinking more abstract with a mage controlling the element of water, and not really in EQ terms of a water pet itself.

Good point. I was trying to think of any other classes that might be able to create that effect but I came up dry. Mage does seem to be the most logical choice.

Ok, I agree with the mage idea.
If you think 'outside the box' in terms of eq, a mage would be able to control water, not just an elemental. And, as pointed out, Andar (Nards) did have the most painful past, and may be more likely to be a traitor to family.
