You should, its good.

My favorite burger before that was Whataburger. Its still pretty close in my opinion - But In and Out is much more affordable and cheaper. You can get double doubles, fries and a drink for less than 5 bucks while a Whataburger costs almost 8 dollars for a meal.

I'll stick to my whataburger #5 with mustard, mayo, grilled onions & jalepenos!

In and Out is great . . . if you have the money. It is better than other places. We usually do our trips by way of In and Outs along the way! LOL . . .

Their fries are made of potatoes - not plastic

I don't think I've ever had In and Out where I lived, but hubby says they're pretty good. I've just always laughed at the name. Between that and the Hot and Now, I always got a chuckle. Around here, the best burgers are from Five Guys. They are a slowly growing chain that does almost no advertising. Instead, the owner puts that money into bonuses for the employees for when they have a good secret shopper visit. Makes for very friendly service. The food is great too, all made with local fresh produce. Bit on the greasy side, but omg can we chow down on their fries! I do like Sonic too, but I swear the one they opened here like last year, at first they were good but it's gotten to the point where they screw at least one thing up every time we order.

We don't have In-and-Out or Whataburger in Florida. And I don't care. All I want is some Saltgrass, and I'll be happy.

There's Whataburger in the FL Panhandle. Definitely several of them in Pensacola.
pharren 15 years ago
Well, we don't have them in the civilized parts of Florida ;)

Whataburger and In and Out are close anyway. I'd take either.

You should have tried a Whataburger while you were in Texas, Pharren.

I was told that only hermaphrodites eat there so I skipped it. Saltgrass, however, I went to twice, because it was just SO DAMN GOOD. Thank God for Keriath, for suggesting that place.

Just remembered another good burger place we don't have around here.... Fuddruckers! Well not down here anyway, looks like hubby has one up near his work... that bastard! Used to eat there down in NC when I lived there. Yummy burgers and you get to put your own fixings on them like a salad bar type setting.

I went to a Fuddruckers a teenager and it was the best burger I've ever had. I went to another about 5 years later in Washington DC and it was a major letdown. Again in Portland and it was good, but not the best. I think this is one of those chains that varies tremendously by location, but I will say - the good ones are fantastic
