new Mortal Kombat movie teaser

I loved the first one, campy as it was. The second one not so much, can't even remember much about it. This one looks to be pretty damn good, and a whole helluva lot darker than either of the other ones. Works for me :D

Im a huge MK fanboi - So i'll be seeing this with the quickness.

What im not liking though and what is confusing me is that Scorpion seems to me a good guy in this or the "main character" - Shouldnt it be Sub-Zero instead?

I just noticed that Black dude at the table with Scorpion is Jax. Took me watching it twice just to catch it.

Yeah, lol. I didnt catch that part until the second time that I watched it.

As long as they put the song in it where the guy screams "MORTAL KOMBAT!!!!!!!!" I'll be happy.

They already are dropping the "fatality" line so.. Hopefully this movie is very dark. The other ones just didn't do the game justice. It should all be about killing.. screw a plot etc, show me badass fight scenes and i will be happy.

Mortal Kombat movies need bloody and gory fights with sick ass finishing moves etc. I wanna Scorpion pull his mask off and breath fire on someone and burn them into a skeletal crisp! Or Reptile breath acid on people etc!

Okay I just looked this up on IMDB trying to figure out who some of them were. It only lists this as a short, 8 mins, like this is the whole thing. What's up with that?! Not only that, it's only listing 2 of the actors, the ones for Reptile and Johnny Cage. There's another Mortal Kombat that comes up for 2013, but when I added the Rebirth part, this is what I got. Kinda lame if this is it for this one :(

Isn't scorpion the guy who played Zero in Wolverine? Cuz he's kinda hot.

I just learned that this movie was picked up by a company and are they gonna go ahead with the project.

Lets hope that rumor is true - This movie has win written all over it.
