Please don't start. I am not taking blame for this loss anymore than anyone else. We had a townie pretending to be sheriff and giving fake IDs, and two others that voted for me nonstop based on previous games. We lynched the sheriff in round 1 despite my best protests (in which I tried to lynch, and voted for, a mafia) and the plan could have worked with a sheriff alive - but I had no way of knowing they were dead.

You've hidden behind snarky comments quite a few times this game so just say what you mean. The game is over and it was an AWESOME game that was VERY well played by the mafia. I was wrong about MANY things and will admit that, but I'm not going to put up with people acting like I cost us this game.

Yeah, I think it's fairly safe to say everyone had a turn at costing us this game at various points. For my part I could have bitten the bullet and sided with Verileah. I could have stood by my convictions that something smelled a bit off with the plan. I definitely should have done something about Gongaa rather than just raising the Zookeeper thing over and over... the list goes on and on.

I don't think any blame can fall on Vulash - at least he had a plan. I had no plan at all.

Killing Eve round one was a happy accident which started with some bloodlust on my part concerning which I feel no small sense of shame. And I quote...

" ...now, I need to find a way to accuse Eve! I want her blood to spill so bad!I want to feast on her still-beating heart!"

That raw, visceral desire was woven together by SnowDragon with another unfortunate quote from an IM conversation that I had with Roz...

"It takes strength of character to kill something innocent and helpless...I believe that I have what it takes!"

Eve convinced me to join Mafia despite my doubts about how fun it would be. I figured that she would be flattered to be the first kill.

I was clearly picking on you in a sarcastic way, hence the emoticon. But, since you feel the need to attack me, so be it. Thank you for the game, all. It was interesting, and enlightening to see how such a game is played. Good luck in the future And thank you to Roz for doing a great job!

That quote was directly from Wystro. It was just perfectly said.

Now - really, guys...absolutely no one is to blame about the outcome of the game. I think A LOT of us, myself included, got really burnt out over how long the game went (2 weeks??) and how passionately everyone played. Everyone did a spectacular job making me look super smart with the clues (when I really wasn't lol) and really put everything into this.

Game well played. Honest injun. Now everyone loosen the fuck up, god LOL /cringes from lightning bolt

Well, we both pretended to be Sheriff, Vulash. :P It's over now, so time for everyone to stop being defensive.

And Wystro ... I fuckin' knew it. Your mustachio cannot lie.

? No we didn't lol. I would kind of like to hear what you were thinking in pretending to be sheriff as a townie. You even told another townie that Wystro IDed as not mafia
ShutUpSara 14 years ago
You claimed to have a Sheriff who was ID'ing people. With the Sheriff being dead the entire time, I'd like to know what that was about. Either you had another person claim to be Sheriff, and you somehow trusted them, or you made the entire thing up. I think you've maybe taken things a bit too far with the game, because it's over and you still seem to be pissed off. That's no fun.

I did claim to be Sheriff. It was fun, and different. The only reason why I claimed to be so is because I was getting bored with OOC.

I also said from the very beginning that I didn't trust Wystro, and voted for him a few times. But Wystro was the only person still making the game enjoyable by RP'ing, so I wanted to keep him around (despite not being able to shake the suspicion.) I prefer actually playing the game, and providing clues in RP to help other people instead of hiding in OOC and picking apart everything that anyone says. That's not fun (imo) that's being bitter and taking the game far too seriously. It's just a game, and not at all worth getting upset for longer than a minute over.

it's been made very clear what that was all about as far as my revealing IDs. It's been posted multiple times.

In your effort to find something fun and different because you were bored you basically sabotaged the townie team, and I even told you that was what you were doing as you did it. Once I saw that you were indeed a townie (now that the game is over) is when I knew for sure so now is the time to address it. I do have an issue with it. You made some nasty claims about me, and hinted that others were ruining the game - I take exception to that, and you can pretend that you were innocent and I was rude all you like, but you were nasty as well, and now I know that you deliberately screwed up our odds of winning out of boredom. I don't appreciate it, and while it is just a game that ruins it a bit for me, and others. I won't be playing with you again. This is the equivalent of griefing in an MMO and then saying "it's just a game don't get upset!" when the person gets upset that you are griefing them. I think perhaps you didn't realize it, but I'm explaining it to you now. We put a lot of time and effort into the game, and you spit on that with your boredom - showing up and making outrageous claims, and apparently you have no clue what even went on - the fake sheriff thing was kind of the key to the game and you are asking me to explain it again.

I'm calm - I'm not angry, and I'm not being mean. I do wish you would stop trying to paint me in a bad light while acting like the good kid when you set out to screw with this game once things weren't going your way.

I'll let it drop now if you want, but I did think an explanation was in order, and I thank you for giving one.

Well fine Vulash. I won't play anymore, because you don't like what I did. I never claimed to be innocent, I just claimed to be chaotic the entire time. But if you want to blame me for the game results, fine. It has nothing to do with people not picking up on Roz's excellent clues, or the Mafia playing the game very well. I'm sorry I didn't see anything in regards as to why you said you had a Sheriff, but you won't have to worry about me screwing over anyone's Mafia game again.

I really expected something different from Mafia games on TAC, considering what an awesome place this is. I guess I was wrong. And no, that's not me 'griefing' .. whatever that means .. that's my honest opinion.
