I Never Tired of Peanut Butter and Jelly - a poem
It was the entree for kids to my left and right
If it weren't present lunch wouldn't feel quite right
Crust removed, jelly was grape, the only smart choice
Creamy peanut, a smidgen of butter to make it moist.
Nine years I packed regular, brown bag and all
Though the lunchline did often call
Cookies, chips, cupcake companion
Even peaches or cherries when in season
Then I gained a choice; lunch interests changed
From subs to salads to soup my palate ranged
Pb&j, you weren't left behind
Rather variety entered my mind
If I had you once, a thousand times and more
Whether homemade or from a deli like store
Though I might have you a hundred days on end
I could never tire of you, PB&J, my friend

Homemade strawberry freezer jam pwns all!
my mom loves that stuff...i don't care for jam and stuff so i didn't try it lol
