The Walking Dead (TV series on AMC)

Oh yeah, Mike and I are enjoying it. He has all the books until like 11 I think and I've skimmed through a couple of them. It's a teeny slow, but still really good - the show, rather.

I heard on the radio that AMC only started with 6 episodes to see how well they would do. Turns out that AMC had record breaking numbers for sunday night of any network so next season will be closer to 15 episodes. Not sure how much truth is in that. But, its what i heard.

So was last night the season finale of season 1? If so, that was a pretty strong ending.

I wonder when season 2 starts.

Me too because that ending never happened =x I do like the creative license they are taking with the show though. The characters seem to be evolving nicely. I anxiously await Merril's return!

Considering we'll all have been bitten and turned into mindless, blood-thirsty automatons by next year, probably never.

I was waiting for Merrill to find that note on the car that they went to the CDC and him going there and stirring up shit. That would have been kewl.

I also wonder if they'll bring that black man and his son back into the fold in season 2.

What you don't know is that the hair dryer and the bathtub are made of uranium. Putting the hair dryer inside the bathtub brings it over critical mass and fux u up.

Oh hahaha is it really non fatal now? I honestly did not know that. I always figured plugged in electrical equipment being tossed into the tub with you would kill you =x

It might kill you if your house was built in 1942. Everything is quadruple redundant for safety now. I wouldn't recommend testing it out, but chances are you would just throw a breaker or blow a fuse or whatever the hell you have. Nowadays all houses are built with GFCI receptacles, so if your shit falls in the tub, the outlet itself gets tripped and you just get up and reset the button instead of having to fix the breaker/fuse/whatever.

My house is old. It has old wiring etc. Pretty sure it was built in the 40s.

I move that we not have the toasters-in-bathtubs party at Kelefane's place.
