I am actually thinking about making a template for character creation, in the style of most marvel characters to follow..
Mafia: What's next?
I'd like to hear your suggestions for future Mafia scenarios. What universe would you like to play in?
A few of my ideas:
Hogwarts Mafia: David Bowles (hi2u David) and I ran a Harry Potter game around the time the second movie came out. Since then, there's been another movie and another book, and some fresh new material to work with, so I'd love to run another.
WoW Mafia: I don't know a whole lot about the game, having only played the lowbie end of it, but I'm willing to give it a go.
Lord of the Rings Mafia: Since it seems everyone here has read it or watched the movies, this seemed like an obvious choice.
Blade Runner Mafia: Something sci fi, perhaps? I don't know how many are familier with the story or movie, but I could keep it simple enough that you wouldn't have to read the book to keep up.
Soap Opera Mafia: I've always thought this would be a fun one. Something a little lighter and more funny than the usual dark and brooding things I tend to lean toward.
Fairy Tale Mafia: Play your favorite classic Fairy tale character!
OR
Shrek Mafia: This might have more plot potential than Fairy Tale Mafia, though I don't know if I can be as funny as those movies were :\.

This reminds me. I played (but did not pay for!) that Vampire The Masquerade: Bloodlines game a while ago. It was actually a really cool universe and I have a thing for vampires so that's an idea.

I have a coworker who plays that game. It sounds interesting, and has a pretty good soundtrack :).

I once wrote a paper on people who say they are real vampires, and did the weirdest interview ever with this woman online who said she drinks her friends blood to survive and that she "can go outside during the day, but have to wear sunblock and dark glasses"

I'm such a super dork I played the pen and paper - the universe is cool though and would work better for this then anything I could think of - if poeple knew it.

It was a decent game, combat sucked, but the dialogue really shined. I'd really really suggest playing the game as a Malkavian as you get some of the greatest unique dialogue ever (better yet, play as a female Malk). Also, try cheating to boost all your speech skills to max to get the most out of the dialogue.

White Wolf's world is a cool concept, would be really similar to underworld....but better, imo.

Yea just do Camarilla and Sabbot isntead of trying to hide werewolves - or even upstarts would work - its endless and a game built on politics anyway.
