I stared at that thing for about 10 minutes, trying to decide if it really was an optical illusion that made the circles look like they were spinning, or just the fact that I was staring at it for so long. It's pretty damn amazing. If I weren't so lazy, I would zoom in and crop the specific sections that particularly impress me, but, yeah. Me lazy. Nice job!
Also, Wystro, I like the use of color on the shine on your bug's wing-things. Did you use a photograph as a model? Or did you just know by instinct that a shiny-but-not-perfectly-smooth surface would reflect bright focused lights (lightbulbs, camera flashes) like that? Either way, I hope Gongaa serial kills you! <3
