Lets do a time warp

Its been rambling through my head, and SyFy did a couple days on it.... Greatest American Hero. I was watching the episodes and realized that there was a lot of good writing and lack of cheesy gimmicks and hooks. I think, if written well with the original series as a guideline, it could really work. I dont think a continuation or a movie version would really work as well.

The thing with the show that really kept coming back to me was, an utter lack of oooooo scary villain. The formula of random person acquired powers, starts fighting crime, random lunatic gets powers becomes super nemesis, clash of the tightends or something. Ive always been a fan of storylines that focus more on the real characters reacting to amazing circumstances, and when super villains just start popping out of the woodwork it gets old.

So what do you all think, could a TV show make it based on: Liberal moral innocent teacher is gifted super power suit by beneficent aliens, teams up with heart of gold but cranky FBI agent to solve problems... oh and all with out instructions on what the super suit can do cause they got lost. No other super powered people at all.

I think it could work.

Oh, maybe they could remake The Love Boat too. I can imagine the weekly guest stars....this week Snooki, Bill O'Rielly and Michael Vick. Merry fun on the high seas!

I think they tried rebooting The Love Boat, at least once. Obviously it didn't do so well, lol.

Michael Vick would start up a dolphin fighting ring on the Pacific Princess.
