Cut or Grow?

I’m at one of those awkward phases with my hair and can’t decide if I want to keep growing it long or chop it all off.

This is pretty close to what I look like now, only my hair is a little longer. You can kinda see that it’s starting to frizz some.


Here’s one of me from a couple of years ago when I kept it short. My face has changed and I’ve dropped some weight since then though.

And here’s an even older one with long hair. Yeah, I’m a boob.


The nice thing about long hair is that I can be lazy and tie it back. The trouble with long hair is that I’m lazy and I’ll just tie it back every day. It takes a lot of effort for my hair to look nice and non frizzy when it’s not tied back. It also takes forever to dry. However, I can let it down for maybe 20 minutes before it starts going crazy on me, and it looks sorta pretty for a while. I keep attempting to grow it out in hopes that this time it will be different, but I generally get discouraged and give up.

I like the short hair because it’s pretty easy day to day and is dry and fairly non frizzy in a short amount of time. However, I have to leave the house and get it cut pretty often or it looks stupid. I also am concerned I look like a boy with short hair. It’s kind of hard to predict what short hair will do to my face this time around, since I lost some poundage and my features sort of changed. I fear the unknown O_O!

Right now I’m leaning toward chopping it off but not ready to commit to that. Help me decide!
