Terror on the streets!
aka Sunny's boys on bikes! Thought I would post the pics of my boys and their bikes. Yes, they are getting them late because of the area we live in. But hopefully now that they are replacing sidewalks and actually talking about putting in bikeways, they'll be able to ride them safely :)

Robert (the baby complete with his Mischievious shirt that explains him to a T! )

RJ (the oldest who I'm still trying to figure out when his chicken legs disappeared! I know they were there last fall... )

well around here it's a $500 fine to the parents and the bike gets impounded until an additional fine of $500 is paid. So yes, my boys are going to wear helmets until they are 16 :P
Plus, after being a nurse in a head trauma unit, I'll do whatever I can to protect my kids from that. I was even one of those weird people who wore a motorcycle helmet when I rode. And that saved my life when I had to send the bike into the ditch after someone pulled out in front of me on a highway. I cracked my helmet in 2 by landing on a rock in the ditch. Other than roadrash, I came out of the accident uninjured. Can't say the same for the leather jacket or the brand new pair of Levi's I was wearing though. My helmet is still on display at a local Harley shop :)

LOL I don't think they are going to have any problems in that department! There is already at least 4 girls that I know of who follow them around LOL 2 of them are a pair of blonde haired, blue eyed sisters who have already time out their walks to school at the same time as my boys. No matter what time we leave the house, the girls walk out of their door when we get within a block of their house :P This should be very interesting here in a couple of years when the boys realize the difference between boys and girls!
Oh did I mention that in our neighborhood there is approximately 6 girls for every boy? And they are all between the ages of 6 and 12 LOL
