EQ2 - OMG PHEAR

So I opened this screenshot this morning and thought to myself, I'll never make this look right. I first of all don't have any experience with EQ2 sigs and second the armour looked like a complicated job to me as did the tattoo stuffs. There was panic, there was a searching for Mae, Ry and Vex on IMs and there was a general *yikes*. But I worked it over and I think it came out pretty good! All in all I'm excited about it but I definitely want some pointers.

I like it so far! The gold on the armor looks especially beautiful. .. Or rough and manly. Whichever he's going for ;) Nice job on the hair too, though I think it could stand to be just a touch thicker on the top.

wow hes charming. That gold looks like real metal in my eyes. I do agree maybe some more hair where the part is. taller/thicker ya know? But it may blend into the background you choose and you may not need too. His features are randy!

Ooooh, I wish the game didnt suck because the graphics are pretty damn cool. He looks great, agree wtih the c/c about the hair. The only thing I'd add is be mindful of the direction of the light source when putting high lights on the armor. The touch up looks damn nice, though :thumbsup

Thanks guys. I guess he does look flat headed hehe. I finished up the sig and desktop but honestly, there's something not quite right about it that I can't put my finger on. I'm not quite pleased with the text...particularly in the sig version. Maybe y'all can figure it out hehe.

You did a great job with the armor colors. The chest peice details look a little pixel-y in some ares though. The text is really hard to read on the sig. Maybe make it all shiny gold instead of colors?

Looks very good. I agree with the hair but its still a good job on it. As far as the text goes, its hard to read. It seems busy and the background itself is busy right there where the text is. Try the solid color and maybe a glow to make the whole text stand out from the complicated background.

The desktop ROCKS. You can see the name and details clearly. I agree, the text is FAB but hard to read. I'm impressed with the armor details though. They dont seem too pixel...e to me but definitely losing something when it's sized down. :thumbsup

Since I have about thirty seconds to look at pictures while I'm at work, for now I shall /agree with everyone else on the armor, it's kickass *nods*. The only thing that stuck out to me was the quote...

"I hate every bone in your body...except mine"

I'm not quite sure what this means /blush. Maybe I just don't get a play on words or something *not smrt*

Thanks guys for the c/c...I think I'm going to funk around with the sig some...turns out he spells his name differently in EQ2 then he did in EQ1 so I have to fix that anyway. He also wants to add his guild name so I've gotta find a way to stick that in there.

Scale up the name (minus the G) and then put his guild name in the same size on top of his name. That's one way. You should center the quote and not let it overlap onto the G (my opinion anyway). It looks unbalanced. So center the 'except mine' part under the first line of the quote.
