Day Two Lynch: Kids these days...

You were right next to her when she died!" One of the hostages looked at Prudence knitting quietly on the loveseat.

"What was that, Dear?" Mrs. Schultz smiled complacently at the young woman and thought there was no need to yell, She may be old but her hearing was just fine.

"Yeah, She didn't seem to like that first guy yelling and screaming either." Someone else added in.

"Well..what have you got to say for yourself?" One of the hostages came to stand in front of Prudence, rudely blocking her light, she thought to herself, honestly kids these days! She ignored the disruption and began humming "When Johnny comes marching home".

"She's got meds. All old people have got meds! " A kid pointed out.

"AND she drinks coffee!" Someone added, never mind that in a coffee shop this should normally be a standard practice, that part seemed to have escaped everyone's notice.

"Hey! I think you better answer us, NOW!" One of the hostages grabbed the knitting needles out of her hand.

Prudence looked up to notice they had all gathered around her and were looking quite angry.

"A good game of bingo would have everyone behaving far more nicely than this." She said irritated and reached for her knitting.

A scuffle insued but there was really no chance, mall walker she might be, but Prudence was still one of the elderly. After it was all over the crowd stood back in horror to find Mrs Schultz scewered with her own needles, the brightly coloured scarf hanging down the front of her like a flag proclaimined newly conquered territory. So what if there happened to be all 5 needles in the body instead of just two. It was the heat of the moment, right?

The small mob began to break up giving Tiffany full view of the elderly women. A quiet 'Like, oh my god' escaped her lips before she fainted.

Jumping a bit, Tom realized he had fallen asleep. Wiping his face, in case of drool, he glanced about, his vision still blurred by sleep.

His jaw dropped a bit as he realized his "companions" in all of this had killed again...and the lil' old lady at that! Shaking his head, he began to think that maybe they weren't going to make it out of this. Hit record or not, Tom had to start watching out for these fruits...

Nearby, Phoebe was still singing about barnyard animals...

"You know... barnyard animals just are not doing it for me." "Given the current situation, we need some mood music." Phoebe walked back to her cumfy chair after watching these mad people impale the grandma lady... she looked at the nearest table and thought... "Grandma!"

Phoebe began to write on the table top with the red crayon that was lying next to her...

"Now grandma's a person who everyone likes
She brought you a train and a bright shiny bike
But lately she hasn't been coming to dinner
And last time you saw her she looked so much thinner.
Now your mom and your dad said she moved to Peru,
But the truth is she died and someday you will too..."

She looked up at Tom and smiled. "That's it!" Phoebe said as she picked up her guitar to put the words to song.

"ohmigothisntgudfefifofumdumhumdrum" muttered Raul, his hands beginning to shake. "Weshouldcoverherup". Raul appeared as thought he was fumbling with the old woman's scarf, trying to cover up her numerous wounds. In reality he was looking for something... and he found it. "blingblingchingkachingsingsing" he muttered softly as he located a wallet full of cash. He hid the wallet under the scarf, which was whipping about in his shaking hands. He turned his body and palmed the wallet as he dropped the scarf, his hands moving at a frantic pace. "thisistoomuchboohooscrewyouallpallmallboo" he cried as he darted away with his prize.
