HA HA! I've read this person's entries before...cracks me up...especially cause she gets it so bad, and she doesn't have to deal with HALF the stuff that goes on in an actual porn store. She just works at a place that carries adult movies.

I, on the other hand, have the horrible honor of working in an actual porn store...I've seen shit that would turn you white! *snickers*

The other clerks and I have been thinking about starting a blog-style website about our adventures at the porn shack. ;)

Wow, I didn't get the impression she hated her job at all. It depressed her occassionaly but I think she saw rewards in what she did as well.

She never said she didn't like her job. She is just writing about all the different things she has observed and learned during that time. There are a few customers she doesn't like and some bad days, but that happens at any job.

Yeah, yanno, I've been in porn stores over the years and I always feel creeped out going because of all the dirty old guys that are in there that look at you creepily as a female...even though the hubbo thinks I'm nuts for feeling that way. She wasn't denouncing anyone and everyone who rented porn...clearly if she felt that way, she wouldn't be working there at all. But as in all places, people are stupid and creepy and suck...and they are especially stupid and creepy and suck when it comes to their sexuality. Personally, I've always wondered about girls who work in stores like that and how they deal with the constant barrage of weirdos. I'm with Veri and Ry...entertaining and a bit informative!

I absolutely enjoyed reading these entries. Yeah, they were interesting and entertaining and informative to some extent, but most importantly, the author is delightfully talented as a writer. :)
