I made a comeback to EQ this week and made a banner for the guild I joined.
What do you guys think? Something about the skull is bugging me. It's kinda blurry because I had to enlarge the original screenshot 100%
I'd like to enhance the glow coming off the eyes but not quite sure how I'd go about doing that. Lvl 3 CC? Buehler, buehler?

I think it looks pretty kick ass. I do see the blurr you are talking about but I wouldnt have noticed it if you hadnt pointed it out.

As for enhancing the eye glow--
I assume you are using photoshop. Of course there are plenty of ways to be creative with it, but here's what I would do. Zoom in and cut out the eyes. Paste into a new layer (on top). Then play around with filters on that layer until you get the effect you want. Personally, I have a filter from Flaming Pear called "Fuzzy Glow" or something like that and would probably do the job, since you can control the color of the glow, density of glowing edges, etc etc.

The skull doesnt seem centered to me...mayb I'm just weird. Have you tried the unsharp mask filter? that might help sharpen up the skull a little bit.
The glow can be done a lot of ways maybe a new layer with a shoft brush then turn down the opacity? Just some thoughts. Nice work BTW. :)

If I were going to make those adjustments, I'd smooth out the fuzzys with the smudge tool...make it look like it's supposed to be that way. I also wonder what it would look like with an outer glow on it...to make it stand out a bit...maybe too much? As to the eyes, I agree with Belial...cut em out and/or select the area and fill it with a new layer and funk them out like you would text...give em a shiny look with a glow to them.
It's scary though :) I like the background too. And the layering of the text makes it interesting and different.
