I think I'm going to work on a horde toon. Seems like an easier way to get into the PvP instances.

Arathi Basin is an instance where there are five resource "camp"
Farm
Mine
Blacksmith
Stables
Lumber Mill

Each one has a flag that you will "capture" by opening just like any other chest, quest piece. After a minute if the other side doesn't capture the area, you will start to receive resources, via a numbers readout on your screen. Basically you have to hold onto the control points to get resources and the first team to 2000 resources wins.

Typically a game here will go for 20-30 minutes depending on how strong the teams are, at least from what I've seen.

Wow :( On Nathrezim the games are 10 minutes tops.

If you hold all 5 bases, you get exponentially more resources. Our record is 6 minutes for a 2000-0 victory.

Is Deathwing balanced? Or is it majority Horde and minority Alliance. I want to go to a server that is about equal in Hord/Alliance but I will roll horde this time and want to be the dominant race when it comes to the way they play.

I don't know about dominate, but like most pvp servers, (despite what most census sites say) the population is basicly balanced. On Deathwing Horde are considered the better in PVP and Alliance have a slight edge in PVE (ahead by one BWL boss or something equally trivial).

Compare this to Nath, where the top alliance guild (TheCore) mostly hides from pvp and is behind in pvr, compared to the pvp and pve dominating guild DA (which is at Nefarion).

Really, if you want to be dominate so much, lurk server boards or just plain reroll horde on Nath.

Not gonna throw away all that time spent. I will check out Deathwing and roll horde.

i came in at hour 3.

at that point, we had horde damn-near beat. in less than 15min they had us battling for our last GY. i was positive we were losing.

but we ended up pwning them. it was 40/40 both sides for the entire time except the last 15mins they were getting pwnd.

We will see, my server has had AV come up once since AB was put in. Prior to that it was up twice a week and always when we were raiding. =( I like AV a lot too.
