Why is it that all the people who have more than 4 children either

A.) Poor
B.) very religious
or C.) both

???

A racial observation I have noticed as well is that regardless of class (financially), blacks seem to generally have larger families than whites or hispanics.

I personally don't see what the big deal is. It's a ginormous family. He's running for senate, but sells real estate now. I don't know the ins and outs of politics, but if he is running for senate, could he be on state assistance? I'm not even sure why this would hinder him, but for some reason, I"m thinking politicians and those that can afford to run for a government office aren't on assistance. Who knows, maybe she is rich, inheritance or lottery money. Maybe they come from money. The goods and bads are all possible.

I'm content with my two boys and couldn't imagine adding that many more kids to my family, but to bash this family because they choose to have 16 (or more) kids?

Why would they want to brings children into the world and care for them and love them -and- provide for them??

My grandmother had 12 other siblings. Does that make my family retarded, inbred, poor, religous, or brainwashed? Nah, it means her parents enjoyed sex and were content to have a big family.

/shrug. I think it's a great thing as long as the kids are taken care of and the parents want it.
Though, the thought of all that laundry makes me cringe.

having 16 kids, there is not enough time in the day to spend quality time with each of them and meet each individual's needs. there's very little time for bonding.

I watched the documentary on them and they aren't on any type of state assistance. Apparently they spent the first years of their marriage saving alot of money. The house they're building now, they're building it on their own without hired help. From what I could tell, the kids didn't seem to be lacking in any kind of social skills either.

She home schools the kids, though I do agree, the quality time with each kid goes down with each one they pop out. Giving time for all 16 would be reduced as opposed to having only 2 or 3.

To each their own, I suppose.

Well it's good to know they're not on assistance but at least they know their kiddo's qualify for financial aid when they start college O_o
