AWWWWWWWWWWW. I did the same thing...well I had pants on actually =x The curtain is cute around the crib, I've never seen anyone do that before. I've seen those nest you can put over the crib to keep the crittors out though. It looks adorable, Ruthie! Very excited for you to GO INTO LABOR AND POP!!! :teehee

Yeah...well Mike did it per my instructions ;) I'm not allowed to paint. It took him 6 hours just to tape the wall with the diamonds on it. The curtains are around the 4 poster bed that's in the nursery, not the crib.

is that like a celery or darker?
very cute though , the diamonds remind me of a Vern room. And its cool cuz the colors arent the normal nursery room colors, either pink or purple or blue pastels or primary colors. I'll have to post some pics of some of the faux painting I do. We just finished up a 4k square foot house, only had one faux paint in it, a RL regent metallics in a very small bathroom which does the paint no justice but we put together some interesting colors and such. Our next side job lined up is a little boys room where we have to put up a 3d mural and paint clouds on the ceiling and then she wants her kitchen sueded...even though i understand why because the walls are bad and have alot of imperfections nad the suede is beautiful and hides all bad spots in a wall but in a kitchen normally you want to go with a satin or higher finish so its cleanable...but hey i dont care if its a bitch to clean, i just paint it! lol
BTW if anyone is thinking of doing the suede its absolutely beautiful and you can work with it to get as much or little contrast you want, well worth the 40 bucks a gallon imo. And its not that hard to do.
