Greetings from Fort Benning, GA!

Hola everyone from EQ and such that know me. My basic group is 10 weeks into our 14 week basic/ait. things are going good and bad. I jacked my knees up pretty badly and I'm either getting sent home or restarted back to the FIRST DAY of the FIRST WEEK to do it all over again. Because of my knee problems I've lost my airborne contract, and therefore lost my shot at special forces. We got 2 8 hour passes the last 2 days so I figured I'd drop a line and say hello to everyone! I'll reply again when I get more time on another pass.

Can't say I'm not relieved you're not going special forces, but good luck with the knees and staying in =D /hug

Sorry to hear you lost your special forces chance, I know that's what you really wanted to do. Good to hear from you though, my lil bish du jour ;)

Just roll with the punches and do what ya gotta do, things will work themselves out :)

Dude, if you don;t make SF ... you wont come up to WA.

But that aside .. this is where you'll need to keep your hopes up. They tried to medically board me last year. I had to fight to stay in. What I woudl do is simply stay in rehad the knee. Try to get to a striker unit. Get a sham shield under your belt and some civilian education classes. Then re-try out for SF. Like everyone in the Army used to do.

SF is always open for people to try out. Thats how most people make it in. Very few actually get first time goes.

If you need any mroe words of encouregement look em up on AKO. joseph.a.reese@

Theres alot fo cool MOSs out there. You don;t have to be SF to be proud of your country (or get a free bacjelors degree for that matter)

Good Luck
