Yes we have a SK kill before votes finish - this round ends at 11pm est tomorrow night (Friday). Either some people didn't realize, or they're trying to get a leg up on killing someone innocent :P As much as I'd like tos ay the latter probably just didn't realize (I didn't :D)

My bad...I misread and thought the voting ended to night. But hey, I can still change my vote...if someone else sounds better.

Ok here is what I'm finding: - first days are always a stretch so don't get upset :D

It took Vern 3 days to copy plan etc - that matches the number 3 for the # of figures - so it seems pretty safe to assume 3 mafia. That would about match the right numbers with 1 SK and 11 townies (assuming 15 players which I think is roughly what we have).

He finished with "fair" success - this could be a clue to someone fair skinned - that's Emerald, Angelina, and Lanna Rose - Lanna actually says "fair"

Mention of a forceful personality - Emerald, Temperance "Kung Fu" Jaxx, Lincoln

Drifted off - could be a clue to a "drifter" we have like an entire squad of hobos I think - Kyle (running form something), Henry, Emerald (comes right out and says it) Angus (says a few years eh)

"Pressing" Him - we have a couple reporters I think - I know Kyle, nm just Kyle - weak clue anyway

2 more mentions of demanding which reinforces the forceful thing

Flagg had a slightly mad look - we have a clown instructor Dirk Spurley

Random reference to "small"

Another mention of "foolish" - again clown Dirk

Several references to cold but I dno't think that matches any bios unless I'm forgetting something

Hanging off the wrong side of the "rail" could be another drifter comment

The grey comment previously mentioned - Henry has a few grey references and Jet has grey eyes

The fact that three of them struggled throwing him over implies small in my mind which is why I mentioned it earlier when it was mentioned kind of randomly in the kill


Overall these are all a stretch I realize - don't yell at me :P But we have to start somewhere and hopefully over the course of a couple kills some of these will stick out more then others.

As of right now Emerald and Henry seem to ahve the most/most solid clues but definately waiting on SK clues too before I vote.

Shay - that's cool i was just pointing out that by having names up there over a day people that don't really read as much might be more likely to vote and then not change theirs later - so it could inadvertently gain those people already voted for more votes. Not a huge deal since the first day is almost a crap shoot anyway and I don't know if we've ever successfully hung a badguy on day one lol

Wouldn't it take someone a few hours to walk up the Needle and down again as there is no electricity to provide power to the lifts and elevators?

Even if the person was lying in ambush for Vern, they would have to be reasonably fit to get up there, and get down without taking the scenic route.

The only cold references I could find in the bios were Henry's cold winters and Hank's air conditioning.

Carly, Jet and Xrystal are 5'4", Nickie 5'2". They're our shorties.

That smell could be alcohal, didn't we have some alcohalics or recovering ones in the bios... going to look now, but with all this going on, it would trigger a relapse I would think. At least a possiblitity.

I just wanted to let everyone know that some really bad storms hit Birmingham yesterday so I was unable to log in. It will be this afternoon before I can read everything and post.

Ok folks - here's what I've got. Posting early since it is errand day - I'll check back between runs.

Detachment is a recurring theme, both stated in the text and implied by the killer's distant study - Emerald detaches from those around her both clinically and personally, Lincoln is an isolationist, Lanna's bio talks about the calm detachment she can take in emergency situations.

Survivor and Survival is a repeating theme as well, for which Lincoln is the pole position candidate, though technically everyone has survived Tripps and could be considered, which leads me to believe this isn't the hint this round.

Going down fighting brings to mind the two folks who have been assaulted in their bios - Hank lost his fight, Temperance won hers.

The killer seems to be looking to ease the suffering of Vern, which is in line with Lanna and Emerald's nursing backgrounds. Carly is also a caregiver.

The entry through the service hatch also implies a small person. Carly, Jet and Xrystal are 5'4", Nickie 5'2". They're our shorties.

Study implies either book learning (Dr. Parnell) or more likely ties back to the detachment theme noted above - the Nurses.

The touching on modern medicine and triage practice also points to our two nurses again - Emerald and Lanna.

The random inclusion of shooting a wounded horse supports both the first aid and easing the suffering themes (Lanna, Emerald, Carly to a lesser extent). We can also add Lincoln as the horseman in attendance.

The disturbed theme could point to Dirk and Angus, but this seems a side theme and there is no cross evidence to support the idea within the hint.

The wrapping the sheet and burying is very much in line with what Lanna was trying to do in the RP thread. My character buried her parents in a box, Emerald had a mass grave she was tending, Lincoln lost his family (though no mention of burying them) as did the Dr. Parnell (does speak of burying them).

From what I can see, the thread implicates the poor nurses most heavily - Emerald and Lanna. Lincoln is a close followup, followed by Carly. if we cross reference height with the nurses, Emerald is 5'5", Lanna 5'6" for the short qualifiers. If we discount medical practice altogether, Lincoln becomes most heavily implicated.
