Personally I could care less where it's been posted before. It's not necessary, not here at least and not in my mind, to note that it's a cross post from smmo or da. I post in multiple places just to show off, cuz I'm vain like that =D

In any case, we would hope and encourage everyone who posts their work on SMMO to post here and vice versa or where ever.

well, temp, on that note, its not like you're going to name it something obscure. they are likely to recognize they've seen the piece of art before.

and that being said, TAC isnt a smaller spawn of SMMO, there's people from lots of different corners of the net that come here. It'd be no different than specifying its a DA xpost. Its just not necessary.

And that's no disrespect to DeviantArt or SMMO. I'm a member of both forums but TAC, I feel, is very independent from its meager beginning. We don't want to feel like we're in anyone's shadow and we certainly don't want to make any other forum feel that way as well. This isn't a pissin' contest.

I go out of my way to coordinate our events so that they don't overlap SMMO's - out of respect and for personal reasons - we want the maximum amount of people signed up for our events. It just makes sense since some people feel they cannot balance more than 1 event - like myself. We'd like TAC to be seen as a stand alone message board that caters to a more adult crowd and of course we'd like to feel we stand side by side with other forums - maybe not in size but in quality.

Plus we use the F word liberally here =D In that respect, WE WIN FOR CURSING!! :teehee
