My office was broken into today.
And all they took were my chicken burgers for lunch.
I shit you not. They took my lunch. They violated me, touched my shit, rummaged through my desks, broke open my lab cabinets and only took my lunch. I feel disgusted, dirty and shook up - and I have no lunch.

Wow /hug. I'm with Darsa, just glad to hear that you guys are ok and all that was taken was food.
But yeah, weird they only took food. Something along similar lines... back in high school someone broke into the lockers during P.E. one day. I had in the same pocket of my backpack a granola bar and some money. All they took was the damn granola bar. I couldn't get over it.

Don't even get me started on the buns. I posted about party etiquette after that party in january. Who throws a party and expects people to bring their own ketchup. COME ON, KETCHUP?? Jen and I had to go out and buy buns for pete's sake!

Well my office isn't that high falootin' hehe. I did notice that they took my postage scale, that's about 40 bucks.

I was gonna say...if they took your scale they were probably druggies and they probably broke in looking for stuff. When I was at University there were plenty of comments about that by our professors here and there, that since it was a public University people could walk in the buildings, and that the most stolen thing (of theirs anyway) was the scales.
Sides, who are you going to sell a 2k centrifuge to? Lots o stuff cost a lot to buy, but would be hard to resell (or at least pita) black market I'd think.
