Say Anything.

'Say Anything' is a John Cusak/Cameron Crowe 1989 teen flick. ' A noble underachiever and a beautiful valedictorian fall in love the summer before she goes off to college.' This is actually not what this thread is about, but the message is the same.

Actually no it isn't, I just like imdb.com and the title sounded interesting. /snort

This is not necessarily a vent thread - far from it. This is about saying anything - weather, the bird outside your work window, the fundamental differences between Mormons and catholics, how Law and Order Criminal Intent doesn't get the props it deserves, that I always forget whether it's 'it's' or 'its', that my daughter has a beautiful smile and the first guy that breaks her heart - I'm breaking his knees...it's about anything.

So, say anything.

Not enough Quiznos around here! I just love that Honey Mustard chicken salad :heart

My love affair with quiznos is over. It was an amicable separation, although it did make me gain 5lbs in 3 weeks. /lip quivers

However - today Catherine is home sick. She threw up all night and now has massively bad poopies =( She's running a fever too, but she's awake enough to watch SpongeBob and seems chipper. My poor baby. =(

Awww...sickie kids are the saddest :( Hope she gets better soon!

Sponge Bob eh? *shivers* Glad I'm not the only one tormented by that lil yellow bastard. We've threatened to block Nick if she doesn't quit watching him all the time, but I swear I've seen so many of those things I can do the dialog on half of them >< Sorry Catherine's sick tho. Hate it when my baby feels icky :(

Oh yeah it was a SpongeBob birthday and christmas for the past 4 years. =/

SpongeBob should DRY!

Poor Roz and Catherine :( I'm glad my kids are starting to watch more than just SpongeBob that has to be one of the most irritating shows ever.
ROzbeans 18 years ago
Actually I like SpongeBob, /snort. We don't let her watch stuff like Ed, Edd and Eddie though. =x

Honestly, after the period I just suffered through I am starting to feel it is medically necessary. I mean, how anemic do I have to be? How much blood loss is considered hemorrhaging? (Its about to get graphic guys, skip ahead to the next post now!)

You need a new doctor. Mine and I are going through this right now, trying to determine the best course of action to fix what I've got going on. And I bleed about half of that. She's strongly discouraging hormones - I'm almost 35 and I smoke. So that cut out ALOT of options right there. Not to mention that even regualar BC does odd things to my system. So she's recommending either the Merina (newest IUD - my sister has one and loves it) though it does contain a small amount of hormone. It's good for 5 years though, which would get me to where I would have alot less problems convincing my insurance that a hysterctomy was medically necessary.

Looks like we're going to go with the Novasure procedure instead though. She can do it in the office (yay! no hospital bill!!). She has to run one more test in a week or so to confirm that there's nothing else going on, then we'll probably do it in February so it's on next years insurance deductible (which is sad that I have to take that into consideration when scheduling this... but that's a whole different rant!) I would do it in January, but it will put me "out of commission" for a few weeks - and we already have plans for my birthday!!

Since this is a relatively minor procedure, it's easier to get past the insurance companys. Something like 70% of woman stop having periods altogether. the other 30% have extremely lightened periods. Either way, I'll be a much happier camper. The only thing to keep in mind is that THIS IS NOT A FORM OF BIRTH CONTROL. You can still get pregnant (unless you've had your tubes tied or are taking hormones, etc) and getting pregnant is extremely dangerous after having this done.

Oh - and y Dr warned me that if I suffer from PMS that I still will since that is hormonal...

I'm sick and I wish someone would go get me some Quizno's. Specifically I want a footlong Italian with no cheese or onions, with a buttload of pickles and banana peppers. And enough of that red wine vinaigrette to make sure I don't get scraped by a piece of dry bun.

I'd demand Jason's Deli, but I prefer to actually go there in person so I can rape the salad bar. Gimme a Texas Spud with NO CHEESE (seriously, hate the stuff), and a salad buffet so I can get 3-4 full plates. They've got such yummy sides'n'desserts.

I'm losing weight :(

No Ed, Edd, and Eddy!? I actually like that one :p I'm with Mil, SpongeBob can dry up and die! I like Lazlo, too lol. Can't remember the one guy's name, the small one that hangs with Lazlo and the elephant dude, but his lil commentary always kills me. "More hint!"

You need a new doctor. ...snip...

Damn, I probably just need to go talk to her. I haven't been back in um, 3 years? I had read that NovaSure web site about a month ago as it was linked on the veg board I frequent. Seriously should look into it. My hubby was not very enthusiastic when I said hysterectomy. Maybe this would be a bit easier for him to take.

I can completely understand about waiting till January too. We are switching from his insurance to mine pretty soon so I dont know if I should make an appointment now or wait. haha. Probably now, we have already hit all the deductibles this year, might as well get one last visit in before they wipe that slate clean.

Thanks for the info Fyre! I appreciate it.

My company neglected to pay their web service bill back in September.

The service was shut off ~15 minutes ago.

So the 500+ hits we get a day to the website are now calling instead whining and complaining.
Den 18 years ago
Oh nooes! Bastards!! I remember too clearly how our call volumes used to jump like crazy when the EarthLink website would go down...:(

:lol CeCe and the girl she sits next to in class have made a playdate to play WoW together. Now I have to let her use my laptop and WoW acct :(
ROzbeans 18 years ago
LOL no you don't.
Laschae 18 years ago
I'm gonna make her play on Erik's account since he isn't home during the day and she has Thrusday and Friday off of school. He can suffer the can-I-play's when he's here =P
FyreGarnett 18 years ago
That actually kind of cracks me up - A play date where you go out and whomp baddies!!! Love it!!!
