Say Anything.
'Say Anything' is a John Cusak/Cameron Crowe 1989 teen flick. ' A noble underachiever and a beautiful valedictorian fall in love the summer before she goes off to college.' This is actually not what this thread is about, but the message is the same.
Actually no it isn't, I just like imdb.com and the title sounded interesting. /snort
This is not necessarily a vent thread - far from it. This is about saying anything - weather, the bird outside your work window, the fundamental differences between Mormons and catholics, how Law and Order Criminal Intent doesn't get the props it deserves, that I always forget whether it's 'it's' or 'its', that my daughter has a beautiful smile and the first guy that breaks her heart - I'm breaking his knees...it's about anything.
So, say anything.
Super cute family pic!
In other news, I can't get the mental image of an octopus juggling hermit crabs out of my brain.
That picture is delightful. Roz, you look like a delicately floating pixie :D.

HAHAHA omg weird lol
You have made me more excited!
I feel the same way, after EQ nothing has compared. I couldnt get into WoW at all.
Im very interested in a Mesmer, maybe a Necro and a Ranger. lol i cant decided. Def a Mesmer to start. I'm a Shadow Knight type of girl, I like to be able to tank/pull a little yet have some spell action as well. GW2 PvP sounds interesting, I want to check it out for sure. Are they setting it to where you enter into the combat area and everyone becomes equal? am I guessing that right?
I like all the character story and the ability to solo without missing out half the game. I work from 3-11pm so I'd play in the day which equals alone or with europeans. =)
Im half tempted just to buy a new computer but husband is already complaining about upgrading the computer. We plan on purchasing a Mac for our next computer due to his line of work (and love of all things apple) So if i go and buy another pc he will be heart broken. Im hoping the lag factor wont be too bad with my processor.
Thanks for all the great info! I didnt think it was possible to be even happier about a game
Yes - everyone becomes equal in structured PVP - all abilities and weapon skills. In WvW you all become level 80, but you only get the skills and abilities you already learned in PVE. WvW is AWESOME.
BTW, I played GW2 in Wine on my Mac, and you can always bootcamp your mac and play in Windows which will run MUCH better. Just try to get a high end Nvidia card if you buy a Mac. I honestly love my Mac.
Moron fucking drivers.
Was behind a woman just a few minutes ago who was too busy picking her nose and flicking it out the window (using her driver's side mirror!) to actually drive.
It must be the new moon.

ewwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww
I bought a pound of fresh Jersey peaches at a farm market on Sunday, had two with lunch yesterday, and it felt like my mouth, lips, tongue, and nose were on fire or had a 90 volt battery connected to them, for how severely they were tingling.
I didn't know what to think it was.
Then this morning I had one with breakfast, and this time my chest feels funny, in addition to the above.
So I googled it, and came up with Oral Allergy Syndrome.
I will try another after peeling, but if it happens again, I'll have to forswear fresh peaches :(
And Shit. I love fresh peaches :(
Well at least it's not the whole peach :)
Kind of kills part of the experience, but oh well, it's worth not undergoing the almost scary sensation.
WTF Canada? Seriously. WTF? This is an ad for a convenience store??
Turns out that all it takes is a Seahawks victory to make people see how fucked upside down things are. *ducks* I kid, I kid!
Kelefane, you are a Saints fan, right? Most people that I know personally who were Saints fans before the scandal with the hitlist or whatever have remained loyal, which I find interesting. I'm not sure how I feel about the whole thing with players deliberately trying to seriously injure other players, but I suppose...I mean, it is football, it's a rough game, and if I'm going to question a situation where the perpetrators clearly crossed the line and were punished (severely, I think) for it, I feel like it would be dishonest not to start questioning the whole institution, the element of exploitation, the lasting injuries that develop from typical play, and then I don't think I'd be able to watch football at all. Heh.
Anyway! How 'bout dem Ravens?
And yeah, im glad the real refs are back too. It makes the game feel a lot more pure. I think the Saints being this bad maybe a bit of karma thrown their way lol
