lookin good , hes got some poser shoulder, and the ground really lacks any type of texture period. maybe add some infrount and around them . All I can really CC on atm I look some more later hehe

the arm that's hanging is too.... stiff? there's a sense of motion in the rest of the piece, but that arm's kinda frozen.

Does his tattoo look too flat to anyone else? I know it's not but i'm not sure how to make it seem more integrated. I wanted their arms to kind of mirror one another without them touching.. tried for a connection without them actually touching since there will be some umm.... tension... between them at first.

I like his tattoo, i think im seeing a bit of a square outline from the brush or whatever you used though.. just thin corners mostly at the tips of the tattoo

I suggest trying to relax his legs a little bit. That might solve the problem. Otherwise, the picture looks good. The girl looks completely relaxed and at peace. He looks like he has a stick up his butt.

Nice concept, I like the characters much. He does look a bit stiff, though, like they said.

He looks like the wall is holding him up. Maybe if you moved his feet a little more towards her, it would look softer more natural. I have no idea how hard this will be to do, but It may help.

I'd have to agree with the leg thing, even relaxing one of the slightly to give him a more natural pose.

hmm.. This is what I get for not tweaking stock poses much I guess =/ Yeah, I think it is him that was feeling off to me. ok! so spread the feet some or loosen up the legs. Would it still carry the feel that he is kind of leaning in on her / over her? They're supposed to seem intimate and connected but also his stance is kind of an attempt to intimidate (and she's cocky and relaxed) Maybe leave his right (front) leg in place and move the left foot back and sideways some, up onto the ball of his foot a little? Or would it look off balance with his left arm AND leg extended? I need to make sure he looks sexy and confident =)

And what do y'all suggest I have his right hand / arm do? I left it hanging and limp to suggest he's kind of relaxed even as he tries to lean in on her. Plus it's an 'I want to touch... but I shouldn't.' kind of tension between them. Ugh I am trying to convey too much I think LOL.

Actually, if you relax his leg, it will make him seem confident, too. Right now, he seems completely unsure of himself, and that seems to be the wrong impression. If you totally relax him, as well, it will definitely boost his confidence regarding her. And just bend his right arm a little, maybe towards her like he wants to touch her but isn't completely sure how she might react, so he doesn't want to push too far. *shrug* Just suggestions.

yeah i would maybe just move one leg foreward, maybe his left, just a bit so its not even with his right foot, and bend his knee just a little, and adjust his foot to be sure it doesnt collide with the ground.

then again with his arm, just bending it at the elbow a little bit would give him the look of being more relaxed, doesnt have to be much, but as it is hes stiff as a board.

Right now it looks like he is trying to do a 1 handed wall push up. I think if you relax the leg and arm some as suggested that will help a LOT. Also his thumb is really stiff. It seems to me like if he was reaching out to touch her it would be closer to his hand, not out so far. Awesome piece though! Very very cool.

what they said. just a little bend to the arm should give that needed bit of movement and leave the viewer going - "well, is he gonna touch her or what???"

Some of this echoes what's been said above, but here's my take anyway.

I love the overall look and feel of this piece. I like the position they're in together, and the overall lines that they make together are very pleasing.

The biggest thing to me is the stiffness of his right arm. I'd bend it a bit, so his hand is reaching just slightly toward her. I like the angle of his body, that he's leaning against the wall with his left arm, leaning over her as you said. To me what's wrong with the legs is that they're too symmetrical; I would bend one of the knees or something, so they're not quite parallel. But I'd still go with the leaning look.

The other thing that strikes me is that the faces seem like they could be more expressive, especially his. She seems to have an "I'm tired of listening to your crap" sort of look on her face, but I'm not sure if I'm interpreting it correctly... could be another mood entirely. I'm not sure what I'd attribute to his face really.

All in all, I think it's really good. And I'm sure when you're done with it, it'll be great. :)

I'd bring her left foot down and plant it flat. Her being on almost the balls of her feet looks unnatural. Other than what's been said about dude, i'd maybe haunch him over more towards her, lean down to look at her just above eye level. She's not looking directly at him either but more at his neck - point her eyes at his.

Move his arm closer to her or even have them holding hands slightly, like the fingertips. That'll imply more intimacy for sure. :thumbsup

ooohhh.... much better!!! much more natural - only thing that i saw (and i had to look, trust me!) is the angle of his hair isn't quite right now that his head is tilted that bit forward....

what kind of texturing are you wanting to do?
