Ghost Rider

haha I have that on my netflix queue, maybe ill take a bath or find something else to do while the boys watch it.

He brought the DVD home on Saturday. I send him for chicken and he comes home with Ghost Rider. I pulled it out of the bag and was like...'You didn't pay money for this, did you?'

'What? I want to see it.'

'Jesus Christ - that's what borrowing movies from Jello is for.'

Really I said pvp but that sounded funnier.

Um, hello....but it's GHOST RIDER! Of course it's going to be cheesy! IT'S FREAKING GHOST RIDER! But for a Ghost Rider movie, I thought it was spectacular! I really thought it was going to be bad, but it was bad in a good way. Nick Cage is a HUGE Ghost Rider fan, so when I heard he was starring in the movie, I knew they were going to do the movie well...for a Ghost Rider movie. But if you expected a piece of art from Ghost Rider, of course you were going to be disappointed. If you wanted a popcorn flick, that's what you got. Bad acting and Ghost Rider go hand-in-hand. Even the comics for Ghost Rider were cheesy! That's what I loved about the movie.

So did my daughter, but I've not seen it yet.

Roz you can borrow all the cheezy movies that you want. My hubby buys enough of them!!

Well they made me sit and watch it last night, it wasnt as bad as like.. Steven Segal.. but wasnt great, though I had forewarning so my expectations werent too high hehe.

I bought this at Best Buy the other day for like 14 bucks. I think it'll be better than Daredevil but I'm expecting complete cheese, just as WildHunt mentioned.

We still have to get you to watch Blazing Saddles =D

Jello REFUSES to watch Blazing Saddles. She's our age and has not seen this movie. I'm tying her down friday night and forcing her to watch it.

HAHA Roz, missed me again on Friday nite with Blazing Saddles.

We scrap booked! And sat in her car for 1 1/2 hours waiting on her oldest to finish work. I chewed three pieces of gum and ridiculed about a dozen people walking by =D Next weekend!!! After that pampered chef party we're watching it!

Mel Brooks is Brilliant and Blazing Saddles is one of his best films. "We offer A laurel and Hardey Handshake to our new .........." Brilliant.

I wasn't all that impressed with it.

I think I laughed twice.

Humor, Art, and Beauty are all the same. Personal preference. I cried many times in all of his movies. I think the only one that I was mildly dissappointed in was Men in Tights which still had a few good laughs in it. Personal Preference. Blazing Saddles sits in a category with Airplane, The Naked Gun, Spaceballs, and all the Python Films. Classic Comedy.

Saw this (Ghostrider) tonight, and am glad I didn't pay to see it at the theater. It wasn't horrible, it just wasn't much of anything. I did rather like Wes Bentley though, and I thought Peter Fonda was a riot.

Campy, good for repeated viewings a couple times a year.

Lightyears better than Daredevil.
