Chris Benoit .....

WTF?! seriously ...
.. anyone who watched or knows someone that watches WWE or old school shit knows who Chris Benoit is.
He was found dead along with his wife in son in their new house .. any other news out other then this ? =X

STAMFORD, Conn., June 25, 2007 – World Wrestling Entertainment was informed today by authorities in Fayetteville County, Ga., that WWE Superstar Chris Benoit, his wife, Nancy, and his son were found dead in their home. Authorities are investigating, but no other details are available at this time.

Instead of its announced programming for tonight on USA Network, WWE will air a three-hour tribute to Chris Benoit.

Chris was beloved among his fellow Superstars, and was a favorite among WWE fans for his unbelievable athleticism and wrestling ability. He always took great pride in his performance, and always showed respect for the business he loved, for his peers and towards his fans. This is a terrible tragedy and an unbearable loss.

WWE extends its sincere condolences and prayers to the Benoit family and loved ones in this time of tragedy.

yeah everyone , ... that I know of atleast. The hubster is watching the tribute now =( I don't know anything other that what was posted *sniffles*

So sad. Grew up with em , its sad that everyone is dead. even more sad it that its a reminder of all the people that it happens to daily we never hear about =(

My heart goes out to them all, not just the Benoit family, but everyone ..... =( Its just sickening I tell ya .. we may as well pick up clubs and move back into the caves ......

WOW... unbelievable. Besides Stone Cold, Chris Benoit has been a long time favorite. I wear his t-shirts to bed.

There is seems to be alot of in between the lines stuff they left out or tried to cover up the whole thing just seems off to me.
Just minor stuff ,, i mean shit that first years are taught to look for in scenes/cases that are not present. I can't grasp it all yet =( I'm still in WTF? mode I guess ...

Yeah this is just going from bad to worse. I do think its unfair they're blaming the whole thing on WWE and steroid use. You can't have roid rage for 3 days - this was sudden but premeditated. =/ I feel for their families, what a horrible horrible situation.

WWE has dropped their support of Benoit, and basically said they won't mention him again. They will continue to support the victims and people affected by this.

.. you do know his son was retarded right? I'm not sure what drugs he was on could have been given by a doctor not randomly pulled out the air and injected just because he felt like giving them to him , like so many people make it out to be. Then again who the fuck knows really.
It is extremely wrong to blame the WWE etc for drug use and all the other shit. But now days its the only thing people do is blame drugs, TV, movies etc even tho in the end it was said persons own choice they made ... its just so much easier to blame everyone else then who is truly responsible /shrug

People want, need The Answer. And since we can't plug his brain into a USB port and download his last "duh" moment that triggered this, we have a need to fill in the gaps.

He had probably at one time used drugs. He was giving his son some sort of drugs. Three people are dead. There's only so many ways such puzzles fit together, and if wildly jumping through hoops for The Answer makes some people feel better, then so be it.


For my part, though, he is a "celebrity" whose passing I don't feel for much out of an "it's sad" context.
