Love it but is it worth it?

Meh, not sure it's worth $21.90. LIke you said $10 maybe. I rarely spend more than $10 for a character pack, unless it's absolutely out of this world. With the quality of Vex & Adi's characters, and the fact that they're usually so well priced, I think I've been spoiled. =p

Yeah, a character has to have an assload of extras to make it worth that price. I'm talking makeup out the wazzu, fingernails, and at least 5 different second skins, along with a face that's to die for! The only thing I'd really pay that much for is a perfect likeness of Jessica Alba for V4 (which I'm trying to work on with zero success).

Yeah Id have to wait for a sale.. a decent sale..then i might considerit.. maybe hehe

She went on my wishlist too. She's got a cute face, and some cute make ups, but I don't see why she's quite that much. I think there are multiple morphs, but I may have misread that. Another one I like right now is that Andre for M3, but no way in hell I'm paying almost 30 bucks, or even 20 something on sale for a character. I think he might sell a lot more of the morph and textures if he did just those, and not all the lights and backgrounds and whatever else poses I think. I don't care about all that crap, just gimme the sexy man dammit!

some of the characters im loving lately are the ones for V4 by surreality on rendo, still need to actually finish something that ive put them in though, hehe.

I've got a couple from her now, too. My demon huntress one I just posted used one of Marai's makeups/skins. That girl packs some variety in her sets for the price, let me tell ya! I'd prolly have bought the first one, Dahlia Nero, for her eye selection alone.

I sent her an email commenting on it. Hopefully she drops the price! =D

I just bought Dahlia Nero tonight, and I can't wait to do something with her! I'm just trying to finish up this one piece I've been working on for a few days now. Once I do that, I'm going to play a bit with Dahlia! Surreality has a lot of nice characters. I have a feeling I'll be using her stuff and Vamp's stuff more than anything else (and, yes, that's a hint that Vamp needs to come up with more V4 stuff and SOON!)

she s in my wishlist too, but i think she's too expensive as well, even with 3 faces and so on. but i guess she costs somewhat like emma on daz

i think its worth it.

she has some extremely detailed skin maps, and the 2nd skins are -really- well done. and the makeup options are damn nice.

there is not a single weakness in this package.

$22 is a lot - but it takes a lot of time to do custom morphs, and textures, and promos. i'm lucky cause i have adi, fenrissa has herself.

she only gets half of that $22 too. you guys don't flinch at paying $20 for some clothes from AS that you use maybe twice, while this girl's textures and makeup could easily be used for 10 different pictures and they'd all -look- different.

Well I might just have to go use that five bucks towards her then ;) I don't think anyone was downing the quality. We've just been spoiled by VAMP *nod*

im so cheap hehe, i dont have an income so every penny makes a difference.. if I can get two awesome characters.. or an awesome character and hair or outfit.. i tend to do that before ill consider paying over 20 dollars for one item.. Worth is all dependant on each person's needs and wants.. and to me, its not worth it when i could have two of something else for the same price that i may love and use as much or more.

No I'm not saying its low quality - but she can't really compare herself to AS or DM and yeah VAMP has spoiled us. Consider how many more sales she coudl've gotten if she priced it lower? Obviously all of us who are complaining.

Look at characters made by Thorne etc. They cost usually around $ 16 and all you get are a morph and the base textures, maybe 3 makeups. My original email is at the bottom. At 16 I'd probably buy her (with that 5 buck discount - and I replied telling her as much) but I think for HER, she over charges. I wouldn't think twice to pay 20 for DM stuff or shit, VAMP stuff if you guys were so inclined, but that's just me.

Looking it over, it looks like you get an assload of stuff... second skins, hair, etc... first thing I noticed is that I wasn't particularly fond of the eyes (that seems to be where I focus on first usually); not the shape of the eye socket, but the glazed-over eye itself. Other than that it's a super cool set that's gonna sit on my wishlist forever since I'm so poor right now I can't afford to pay attention...

I opted to get something else on my wish list, for v4, that has a couple skin tones and lots of make up, some 2nd skins, and all for much less. I figure I have a butt ton of stuff for Aiko already, so it would really need to reach out and grab me, annnd not be so much. I do love the shape of her eyes, but honestly I'm just not gonna pay -that- much for some cool eyes.

Shes really cute, as the last V4 one they did too. They really do do some NICE skins. Even their resource is hells expensive but its so nicely done its worth it.
They custom morph the face using Zbrush. I dont like their make ups on any of the characters they have ever done =X thats my major reason for not buying them, but this one shes got a few extra 2nd skins that could come in handy so .. look at it this way you get a (full) character pack plus in a way 3 new outfits too o.O Maybe that will help with trying to reason with the price :)
