Never heard of lettuce wraps before, however I did eat some Mustard Greens today, and boy they had the same effect :x

Instead of chicken or whatever being wrapped in a tortilla or something similar, it is wrapped with lettuce.

It's chicken and water chestnuts wrapped in lettuce and dipped in sesame or peanut sauce. mmm...tasty

I love lettuce wraps, one place I get them serves them with this fruity vinegar sauce, good stuffs. But I don't eat them offten for the very reason you started this goofball thread.;)
