EQ2 sig

So far, I've only done one sig with eq2. I'm in the process of doing another now as part of an exchange.

CC 5+ always welcome on anything I post.

I don't have much c/c on the paintover - it's great. Couple minor things though - I think the chin area could be more defined with some stronger shadows and some shadows could be added to her face where her hair falls over it. Also, you could probably add a small, white circle to the edges of the highlights of the facial jewelry to make them seem a bit more metallic and shiny.

As to composition...well, you could probably guess I was going to say this, but the height is a bit much for a sig. While the height is a great way to help showcase more of the paintover, it is a bit large for many boards, especially those with max dimensions. Keep in mind that art boards like TAC and NS have pretty liberal standards as far as sigs go, but a lot of server and class boards have much smaller dimension requirements and the more places your subject can use your sig, the more exposure you will get and the more use they will get out of it.

The low opacity lines on the top and bottom help to give it structure without creating a full border, but the top lines do not stretch all the way across to both edges of the sig and the bottom starts a bit to the right of the edge and then fades behind the character. The issue with the placement of the lines is that they look like they were cut off rather than deliberately placed that way. Also, since the guild name overlaps the character, it doesn't make sense for the bottom lines to fade behind. My suggestion would be to stretch those lines to the edges of the sig, leave the bottom fading behind the character, and move the guild text up so it floats neatly below the character name and doesn't overlap the character image.

Sorry for the book, but you said c/c 5~

Never be sorry for giving me CC ya goober.

As far as size, the message board she goes to is okay with those limits and she said that was the only one she ever posts on. I thought it was too big too, it never looks that big til ya view it on a message board for some reason.

Vonderful CC dahling, thank you =)

I didn't want to point out the mulletishness....

OMG This one time at work I saw a black chick with a mullet. It was so funny. And then I pointed it out to someone and they didn't find it nearly as funny. She was like "I don't get it. It's just a normal haircut." and I was like "Maybe to you freaks in Texas, but business in the front, party in the back is not a normal haircut."

ummm...yeah
