When was the last time you did an antivirus scan ?

in the last 2 days, i've removed 13 viruses that i got just from browsing WEBPAGES.

I got an additional one tonight sent directly to me from a friend on my MSN list. as soon as i double clicked the file, my computer acted weird, my right mouse button stopped working, i rebooted and it fixed it. But i IMd him and said "wtf?" and he said "*i* didnt send you anything, but a virus on my computer did"

and not even 2 mins later, a friend IMs me and says "heh your computer sent me a virus through MSN"

i urge you all to do this weekly. Viruses suck, and they spread moreso online than they do in RL.

That's weird blazyn because I use google tool bar pop up blocker and seriously I dont get pop us unless I designate that particular site to have them. Like message board PM notices. You seriously need to a virus check, spy ware check and if that doesn't work, just reformat the damn thing. =/

Hell thats why I have DSL - So i can watch porn online! :devil LOL, just kidding. If your running high speed you def need to run it through a router & change the port entrances... That will save you the problem of reformating - if you knew how many times my dad told me that Mae had o reformat her HD! :loco

I just installed Kapersky anti-virus, I figure no one is more paranoid than a Russion. ;) It's working great so far, it has caught a couple of attempts by someone trying to access my machine. I also use ad-aware and I forget what I have for spy-ware and pop up blocking. I had norton which I kept updated faithfully but it was constantly pulling up files as viruses that it said it could not delete. I was pretty happy to remove it from my system.
