Just playing around

Background is from Folkvangar, Rune circle brush is from brushes.obsidiandawn.com, Jayna morphs and texture from Vamp3D (face adjusted slightly due to it looking really odd and kinda chunky when I was working to get the small smile expression I wanted on her.) Daz3d's Selena dress with gothic moon texture. Boots from Daz as well. Hair painted by hand by me... uh...

I haven't done many renders in a very very long time, but I got some new stuff to play with. I know theres a lot needed to be worked on, this is a WIP only. I need to know if/when there are major mistakes so I can fix... everything but the pose/hair is up for tweaking. (just spent two hours on the hair alone... and if I change the pose, have to repaint that hair. /shudder ) Please be gentle. Ish.

Oh and that save looks terrible! It's much more pretty and crisp when not in jpg format and shrunk down so much. I work @ 300 dpi and a minimal size of 8*10.... so when I have to shrink and compress I wanna cry.

what compression do you use for jpg? Perhaps if you lower the compression it will keep some of its crispness. :)

the only things that jumped out (and please don't smack me!!) is that there needs to be a few whispies in the hair - it's too solid and lacks flow.... same for the dress - is there a way to tweak the skirt and give it a bit of movement without messing up the pose?

can't wait to see the final!

I'm not going to slap anyone /smile

The hair is painted so I can do some wispies and flyaways... as for the skirt, the liquify tool, plus deepening some shadows/raising more highlights should make the dress look a lot less stiff.

As for what compression I used: save for web: jpeg medium

Thanks
