I went and got a haircut. I figured I should do it before the baby comes and I have no time. It's cute. Grats on getting internet back!

Me and the kiddo are still in Louisiana so I'm not online as much. She's sitting up now if you sit her up. Taken lots of pictures here. hehe. We're going to Mudbug Madness this weekend.

My girl's recital was last weekend, and my computer is completely dead so I'm stuck using hubby's when he's not until we can get it fixed. But, I'm on when I'm at work!

NOt to mention the weather's lovely and I'm trying to lose weight, so I've been outside a lot!

At my folks for 2 more weeks here...getting on when I can, but Mom don't have internet or a computer at the house, so I can get on only at my Dad's or at her store.

My family was here visiting for a couple weeks,... so I was running them all over England showing them shit. So now they are gone I have to work and give Lori a break since she worked the two weeks whiel I was gone lol .. Good thing is I get to play on the net, IM and shit at work .. because I own it .. well part of it hehe .. So hows things ? ....

Between tax season and a new phone system in work, that half of my day has been sucktastic.

In other news, I have a girlfriend.

Grats 2 you Mil! I've been SWAMPED lately Roz. Took a promotion about a month ago, and its kept me way too busy. I try to peek in when I can. heh

I just submitted my third Java/programming assignment.... I don't do anything else anymore except breathe code I can't wait till after my exams and I get a bit of life back.

I just spent the last 8 days weeding my fucking yard. We're renting the house and we got a letter from the landlord reminding us that our lease agreement includes maintaining the yard and to get it done by the 25th. Despite living in the desert, we had a very wet winter and everything came up so cute and green, but that all died in short order and we had massive weed infestations. Even the fire department said this could be one of the worst fire seasons ahead of us because of all the weeds in the city and most homeowners not really taking the time to weed.

I'm rambling. We couldn't afford to pay someone to do the yard work (two large charges on credit card = no room right now) so I had to get out my trusty hoe and rake. 8 hours one Saturday to do the front yard alone. The backyard was 3 times the size so I got up every morning for five days and weeded for three hours and went to work. Came home from work and weeded until dark. And spent 10 hours Saturday finishing it up. Ran out of trash bags so some of it had to wait until Sunday, but that was another two hours, no biggie.

I did it alone because we had a sick 10 month old baby (hell, we were all sick) and since I'm the more productive person in the marriage, I asked the husband to watch the kid while I did the work outside.

I have realized one very important thing out of all this. When the day comes that we finally buy a house, it is going to have a very, very, veeeeeery small backyard.

I've been house hunting. Between that and work I don't think I've slept in a month. I'm stealing 2 minutes before I have to go clean just to show I'm still living.

I hear you Beli. You would think a big back yard would be awesome but no. It rained all weekend and as soon as it stopped I sent the man out there to mow the yard. We left the weeds. I hate them and there's a flower bed right outside our bedroom window but I just can't take care of it right now. Learning to accept the things that I just can't do at this point is a hard lesson.

The stupid thunder storms knocked out our internet off and on for the weekend. So I spent the weekend yelling at everyone because I spent 4 hours cleaning the upstairs and by Saturday it was a mess again. Erik says don't worry about it, you're 8 months pregnant, go sit on your ass and me and the kids will take care of it. Then I go upstairs and the sink got clogged and was spewing water across the kitchen. We then figured out that the sinks pipes are connected to the washing machine pipes because it started spewing water. Erik ended up sucking out a clog of green beans with our shop vac while I sat here and bawled like a 2 year old.

I'm glad we didn't get the first house we put a bid in on....the back yard was twice as big. But at least it had a privacy fence. Chain link fences are so ugly! I hope next year or so we can have a new fence put it.

I love having a big back yard.. though the man hates mowing it.. even though we have a riding mower..

We had a tiny yard for so long the kids couldnt even play in it.. its nice to have someplace within view the kids can throw a ball and run around or make a garden

I did some yard work this week end also. The only problem is it is hard to do with the little monkey around.

He climbs, he finds, and you cant leave him alone for longer than a quick bathroom break.
