My friend at work told me about it, and I thought it was a joke. I mean, come on, what the hell kind of name is "Ninja Assassin"? That's a name a 10-year-old would come up with, before they understood such terms as "cliche" or "trite".

Then he showed me the preview.

What I like about it, its serious and has no comedy value and its definitely no kid movie.

So ya, expect a bloody as hell Ninja flick with tons of hacking and slashing and your typical Ninja stuff!

I want to see it just for the pure action packed fights who cares about the plot! LOL

Mike and I saw this over the Thanksgiving weekend for my birthday. First - dude is friggin hot and I'm not normally into asian boys. Dude is an Asian pop star - no joke, but apparently he trained for a year to do this part and personally...he did a damn fine job.

There are a ton of no names but recognizable faces throughout the movie. From the start of the movie, it's all action and some seriously sick and kick ass action. The blood isn't gory but more cartoony - they did the same effect with ketchup on a hot dog in one part, but the movie actually had more than just fancy fighting. The Ninja lore is pretty cool, literally seeing them blend within the shadows and being extremely fast. You get to see the history of the 9 clans (ninja clans) and how and why dude is what he is today.

I give it 8 out of 10 :thumbsup for kick ass...ness, but it's no Matrix. Still, it's a movie you can watch again (if only to see dude's hot body, good gravy).

Looking at IMDB I just realized why the main chick looks familiar. She plays Calipso in Pirates of the Caribbean - the chick that Davy Jones is in love with.

I watched this last week and it was the most bad ass martial arts movie I've ever seen.

Releases to DVD in April.

I just watched this - Its the BEST Ninja movie ive seen hands down since the Sho Kosugi era of the 80s.

He's cute too, isn't he Kele? Don't deny it! I'm not into asian boys at all, but omg I would so wreck that shit.

Yeah - I gotta admit, if I were a chick - I may find him kind of hot also!
