Bones

haha, I thought it was lame. I love the show and all, and I look foreward to the new season, but the finale didnt give me that "omgomgomg I can't wait til next season omg! " feeling. :(

Well the season 4 finale was the first one I watched from beginning to end (stupid, I know). I had caught the one with the FBI director's daughter who got cancer from a bone transplant she had received, but it cut off the ending for me. =( After that I got hooked.

Initially I had refused to watch Bones because I didn't like her jawline (hehe) even though Vex kept telling me it was an awesome show. I pretty much spent the entire summer netflixing season 1-3 and torrenting or whatever its called season 4. Took me 3 days to watch all 26 episodes. I'm addicted. At least I'm all caught up now. I totally laughed my ass off during S4's finale. Clark as the hip hop promoter, Mr. Nigel Murray (who I have a secret crush on because of that accent, geez!) as the DJ. Sweets as the bartender 'because I'm practically a psychologist'. It was hilarious - it made no sense, but it was still really funny.

However, I am concerned about the 'moonlighting effect'. Personally, I was a Scully/Mulder shipper - as in I wanted them to get it on. I don't want Bones and Booth to hook up, not until the very very ending. They're renewed for 2 more seasons, so if it ends at the season 6 finale, I will cry but will expect them to get together then. Just not earlier. It'll ruin it, I think. =(

hehe yeah, I agree there, I dont think they should hook up.. but I like the teases and the fact that both seem interested but oblivious.. I like that theyre more human than Scully and Mulder hehe, not robots. I think the writers and directors know this too and will keep leading us on like this until the end. I hope :)

I didnt like her jawline either at first.. David got me hooked on it, lol, but I think it suits her nerdy personality hehe.

Bones is up to 5.3 now and I gotta say...it's kinda boring so far this season =/ There's no Angela/Jack storyline AT ALL. What the what?

I read a spoiler for one of the ep's coming up. Angela and windell...wendell...wendy's, whatever...come clean with their relationship. Now, god damnit, why the hell did they even do that?? Half of what made Bones good was watching Angela and Hodgins hook up and fall in love now they have Angela turning into a bitch and fucking one of the interns. What the what?

And what's the deal with Booth? He's looking all googly eyes at Bones now. He's basically come out and said that he's in love with her - whether its his brain tumor or not - still it's annoying! There's no chemistry between them now and no cute little scenes with them looking at each other with what could be friendly affection or downright 'let's fuck' eyes. I don't like it this season!!!

Yeah, apparently - having lots. And she's quite fertile, I'm guessing. At first I thought it was just her finally getting artificially inseminated, but Vex linked me an article from the creators/writers and yeah - they're doing the horizontal hucklebuck. But his reaction? Yeah he's happy, smiling...but no hugging or kissing? I dunno - I was like, oh, she's pregnant. Interesting. Suppose they're making up for the last two seasons fucking sucking =/

And poor Mr. Nigel-Murray. His death scene totally made me cry.

Question: I read that Fox will launch The Finder in Bones‘ Thursday slot this fall and then Bones will return in the spring, significantly shortening its season. Is this true? —Nancy

Ausiello: Nope, sure isn’t. Bones will launch in the fall, pass the baton to spinoff The Finder in January, and then return to the schedule in the spring. I hear producers may keep the spirit of Bones alive during its three-month, Emily Deschanel baby-fueled midseason hiatus by integrating some of the show’s supporting players into The Finder.




Aww man. We have to wait until JANUARY 2012??? Will we have tv during the apocalypse? Should I be building my faraday cage now, I wonder?
