I just watched the First Pirates the other day, love those movies! (Have em all.) I'm just really hoping it will have Kira Knightly in it as well, wouldn't be the same! (Love her too!)

Two surprise announcements followed an equally surprising live musical performance by Miley Cyrus at Disney's D23 Expo.
Disney Studios Chairman Dick Cook officially named Summer 2012 as the release date for Pixar's John Carter of Mars, claiming that the film will, indeed, be live-action with intense special effects.
Following the announcement, Johnny Depp appeared in full Jack Sparrow costume, taking the stage and announcing a Summer 2011 release date for Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides, the new title for the fourth installment!

Yeah personally I don't give a shit if it's just JD coming back. He's the one I watch those movies for anyway LoL That character has got to be my fav of his hands down.

I think the show could go on without her, though Id love to see orlando bloom some more in the series.
I hope they do a good job with the storyline, the last couple were kinda bizarre, loved the first one.

LOL. . . .the Voodoo lady was the Goddess Calpso. . .. don't think she would want to be stuck in human form again. As far as Knightly. . . even though I liked her. . . .she has really nothing else to do with it now since she and William are pretty much gone. . unless she takes her "son" and sails off with Jack! She can't see Will for another 10 years anyway. . so Orlando is out unless this is 10 years later and they run into the flying dutchman again. . . .

Will (Orlando) could still be in the Pirate movies. He has to stay on the ship, and not go on land.. and it really wouldn't be much a stretch for the Flying Dutchman to help out for sea battles or whatever. WTB more hot Orlando... /sigh but sadly he won't be in anymore.

I will go see it if only because Johnny Depp came back. I would REALLY like to see Geoffry Rush play Barbossa again, however. And I hope they don't do the whole Will and Elizabeth kid story, although I suppose its logical.

Penelope Cruz? Hmmm... wonder what that will be like... I've not seen a lot of her work so am unfamiliar with her. I second/third/fourth the hope for the voodoo lady. Might be nice to have Calypso inhabit her old body again, if only for a brief cameo.
