Kirsten Dunst, 'Turning Japanese...a' Wha?

I only liked her in interview with a vampire.

I absolutely hated her in Spiderman.

I didnt even like her in Inverview with a Vampire..

Too goofy. Guess she's not keeping busy acting these days.

On the bright side, given the way the Japanese folks were looking at her, I think there was at least some irony involved. Still a big ol' wtf, though.

I have to assume you all know that this is a cover song, not an original. (I know you know, Mr. Gongaa)

Is the fact that she's doing a cover song make it less odd? Of course I've heard the original, but I don't get why she's doing it now, and why she's doing it the way she's doing it...goofy.

You have to actually look at it from the other perspective, to think that she wrote the song and the video, and then realize, "Oh, she didn't write this weird song, she just made a weird video to go along with it"

The whole video seems satirical to me. She's dressed up as a Japanese pop culture stereotype, pretending that's what she thinks being Japanese is. Maybe it's supposed to be ironic. If not, well... it's pretty dumb either way. The original sucked, too.

I thought everyone had heard that song before..its been around longer than she has, lol
